$80k SXS all the best of the best. To the cabin and back for some instagram shots then home to have it detailed.
I disagree. I have less than half of that into ours and I don’t detail it. 😏

Paid 💰 Now I just have to set up one of those silly pumpers so I can breathe with that silly helmet on. So far it’s only a confirmed RDP team of 2 🤣

We tried the Sidewall Slug a month ago. I think it would also work to get you home, it is kinda hokey, but better than nothing.

View attachment 1314313

You might think this is a viable repair option for a damaged tire, but digging a little deeper into the required parts list for its use exposes a fatal flaw:

The Sidewall Slug is for a Sidewall Tear up to 1.5 inches.

This is for emergency use only. Once installed properly you will be able to continue driving your off road vehicle back to your starting point.

You will need a 10mm wrench and a set of Pliers.

You will need a portable 12v air compressor or CO2 tire cartridges or tank.

Everyone knows that 10 mm wrenches don't exist. Some speculate they were all lost during Apollo moon missions.

Didn't an old school drag racer drill a hole in front of helmet so he smoke while driving, that would save all the stops except the breakdown one.
IndyCar racer Gary Bettenhausen, taken just prior to the start of the 1992 Indy 500. Gary always had one lit. He was a really nice guy.

Nothing beats a helmet that smells like an ashtray. 👍

I am pretty sure I am in; I have not paid yet; however, gotta drive 1200 miles and 18 hours to get there. Is there a list going and a proposed start time?

The weather looks favorable for the drive south from Montana.

Edit: CRIT sticker purchase location at the Casino or elsewhere?

Crit sticker is behind the Chevy dealership on the East end of town.

This place, I assume? Hours are going to be a challenge. It looks like you need Proof of ownership as well, so buying multiple passes might be an issue.

I'm guessing it's closed on Monday for the holiday; this little Poker Run is getting complicated.

Maybe with the flaming hoops to participate, the traffic will be light.

Has anyone ever used these? They have them on the shelf at the ranch supply place down the street here in MT. Seems like cheap insurance. I usually throw plugs at a sidewall with limited success.
Just ordered it. Looks promising.

… pre-ran half of the Parker 400 in the late 70s in a friend of mine’s 57 Volkswagen convertible Baja… I did fine till I got in a sand wash, and suddenly realized there was a reason all my racing had been in a straight line😳

Hmmm, at first I didn’t see where I needed documentation to prove ownership, but I found this article that said these guys needed to do just that… Might toss a wrench in my plans to get a sticker for my friends.

I'm out. All my regular riding partners have other plans, so I'm going to do something else. The CRIT pass was the deal breaker; I was not interested enough to jump through the hoops to buy one. Being a first-year event, I'm going to wait for the trip reports. Hopefully, I will miss a fantastic time.

I’m still in. I have another car coming with me too. I just got into havasu tonight. Gives me time to get the pumper installed in my car, and get down to buy the crit permit. Just tell me when and where to meet.

Looks like they just sent out an email

Hi Everyone,

You are receiving this information as registered for the 2024 Parker 400 Poker Run. We are looking forward to a great event!

1. EVENT WAIVER:
All participants (each person in vehicle) must sign our event waiver prior to arriving at onsite check-in.

Adult Event Waiver: The adult event waiver is now available to sign on this page.
Minor Event Waiver: The minor event waiver is only available to sign in person, accompanied by their legal guardian.

2. ONSITE CHECK-IN:
Location:
Mohave Room at Bluewater Resort and Casino
Time: 8am-Noon

The Mohave Room is located to the right side of the main hotel check in.
Registration will close promptly at Noon, so please don’t be late!

3. POKER RUN START
The Poker Run will officially start from the CRIT Start/Finish Line Gauntlet.

You will enter from the Spectator Gauntlet Entrance indicated on this page: https://theparker400.com/spectating/

4. FUEL SUPPORT (IMPORTANT):

Parker Oil can provide fuel at the Midway Pit for you to complete the lap. All fuel orders must be placed by Thursday, January 4th at 5pm PST. Please email Parker Oil to place your order directly with them.

All Poker Runs stops will be placed before and after Midway Pit, so if you do not have enough fuel range to make the full loop you may turn left at the Midway Junction (cut the back section out) and still make all 5 poker stops.

5. COURSE FILES:
Course files will be distributed tomorrow.

We strongly suggest having a GPS unit in your vehicle or downloading a navigation app like LeadNav or onX Off-Road. The course will be lightly marked to get you around otherwise.

6. OFFICIAL RESULTS:
Results will be posted to https://theparker400.com/poker-run/ by end of day Sunday. Amongst other prizes, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers of the poker run will receive poker run trophies from our Official Trophy Builder Cagewrx. These are the same trophies the racers will receive!

See you on Saturday and please let us know if you have any questions.

I got that too. I have absolutely no clue how long the gas in the Maverick R lasts. I guess I’ll just email for fuel and see what happens. I’m probably not going to be able to use all the fuel I order.

Bring a gas jug and run it until you find out 😁

You stop at Midway twice so you actually have two chances to fuel up.

Got the crit sticker, getting all loaded up.
Where is the best place to unload? At the blue water or do we go somewhere else and drive to the blue water?

I see they dropped the map file tonight. I’ll plan to be at the blue water a little before 8 to register? We have a razor and my R going.
How many other people confirmed other than @dezertrider and @Outdrive1 ? Is there a plan to meet before?

First two cars finished. There was a rzr they said came in before us but he wasn’t on the trail. We saw no one and had to open the gates on the back side

Love the look of the krx 4seaters if that car was out when I bought my turbo S it’s what I’d be driving. Don’t care about the power it’s just a great solid platform and I didn’t want the extra cost of the turbo but wanted the fox live valve suspension. only way to get that in the RZR was with turbo.
