I do have my set of stock wheels and tires available if anyone needs a spare or four. 👍

Pretty sure it said helmets are required, if you’ve got a pumper you’ll be fine. 🤷🏼‍♂️
I guess I did read that.. Sadly, the pumper won’t help keep the visor clean. Also a helmet for 140 miles doesn’t sound that fun to me. My neck is going to be sore.

I’ll bet you RD is late and hung over the morning of the poker run, if he shows up at all. RD doesn’t do anything early in the am, especially after camping in the desert when he pulls in at 11 o’clock at night.

I’ve also been with Dave when his “badass” Tyrex smoked out Shea Wash 2 different times, that was the latest and greatest too. Everytime it needed a new motor it was going to be the Polaris killer, that didn’t work out too well either.

WMC gapped Dave’s badass Canam also. Basically Dave has never done anything but bench race, repair his junk, and lose. 🤷🏼‍♂️

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

lol. I don’t remember it blowing up twice when you were around.. once.. but yes it was faster than the Polaris at the time until the 900 came out

Everyone is going to be rolled over like turtles on the first 10 miles lol

Hilarious. 😁
Serious note, as most know on that course there's a fair bit of miles of high speed smooth roads with rollers and sweeping turns. Hate to crest a riser wide-open and find a group of snowbirds in their jeeps or an oncoming rancher.

Buy one of these. Makes a huge difference

I also hate wearing a helmet, my neck will be on fire as well. I figure I’m going to do about 1/2 or 3/4 of the course and find my way back on Shea rd.

Now I know why all you youngsters have a cage...

I've ridden All day with a set of handlebars and a helmet.

Hope you guys don't get a blister on your throttle foot on your little two hour ride...

Oh the horror!!!

😱🤣🌈

It’ll be more like 5 hours with minimal stops. That course is typically pretty haggard. I say best average is 35-40mph.

Just got a couple of these for Bronkzilla. I will probably take them off once we are on the trail. '

In the Can Am we use closed helmets and a Parker Pumper to keep the duct out. We have been wearing them for so long we cant go without them even in AZ now

Since we are talking safety, this is in small print but an important number to have vs 911 out there.

Is there any support group by the organizer, I’d bring out the Jeep maybe.

Has anyone actually done this poker run before?
This is the first year the UNLMTD Series (Martellis) are running the Parker 400, and I don't believe BITD ever had a poker run for the 425. I did the Poker Runs for the UTVWC in Havasu and the one at the Barstow 300, which the Martellis put on both those races.

And you also need a CRIT off road pass if you are going to do this Poker Run.

I think Med and XL but I will check this weekend, hell I don't know $50 for both? Let me know if you are heading out for New Years and I can send them with Ed.

Didn't an old school drag racer drill a hole in front of helmet so he smoke while driving, that would save all the stops except the breakdown one.

How about a nicotine patch??

And a CamelBak bladder, filled full of beer??

And a couple adult diapers??

Did I miss anything? 🤷‍♂️

That was one of the best motorsports names in the history of racing, Dick Trickle lol

Dude was a man’s man. Pretty sad story towards the end of his life but was the truest form of grassroots competitor.

I called the office and there are only two options to purchase the pass, in person and by mail.
By mail must be new…. Use to have to go into the CRIT office. I think it’s only like $25/$30 but more of a pain in the ass to go there.

Is everyone backing out of this thing? I thought we had a whole crew! I could probably go get crit stickers for people before the run.

Welcome to Havasu. 🤣

Not many people here have it in them to do this thing.
