Don't think a pro would intentionally leave casings, but maybe? Definitely points to a disgruntled family member of a patient.

As @lbhsbz said, dealing with some of the insurance people can be extremely frustrating.

The shooter did a good job of concealing his identity in that Crimestopper photo. The guy's face is covered up pretty damn well. Why not go the extra mile and choose a black backpack to blend in even further? It's almost as if he wanted people to focus on the backpack and by choosing a different color than black, he does exactly that. Interesting.

I haven't followed this as closely as others, so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

It’s a parachute. He was going to go to the roof of a tall building with the cops in pursuit and jump off and escape. He watched it in a movie before.

is it really? i havent seen people say it is anywhere else, its just huge and thats what it looked like to me

I read that its a Station 6 9. Kind of resembles it in video. Professional hit if so.

Beautiful gun and expensive.

All I know.
My meetings at UHC on 12/19 and 12/20 have been delayed until January. They were with the CIO.

Glad my meetings got moved, wanted to start winter vacation early

Pros do it for the money, not an ideology. Haven't watched the vid, but on the radio they were saying first shot was in the back. I'd think a pro would have put the first shot through the back of the head, and been on their way before the body fell. Also, probably not hang out at Starbucks beforehand with cameras and such.

This absolutely doesn't surprise me and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't start to be more common.

People are fed up!!

The amount of money it costs to insure a family is astronomical, and then you have the deductible on top of the insane monthly premiums. The Healthcare industry has become a fucking joke with all the layers that they have just to get a simple procedure done.

Fuck insurance companies. All they do is take, take, take and then when you need it, do whatever they can NOT to pay your claim. Meanwhile they sponsor every major sporting event, 1000 commercials a day on TV and Radio, celebrity spokespeople and multi million dollar salaries for executives. Only to deny your claim for a few thousand bucks. Fuck that!!

Search every trash can between Starbucks and the shooting. His cup will have DNA all over it.

We may have reached that point where the serfs are about to push back on the system and the "elites" hiding behind the firewall.

The amount of profits, a middleman can collect between a consumer and a healthcare provider enforced by government is grotesque and needs to be changed..

Where were you yesterday morning?
🤔

I get it though, I think earlier this year I posted about wanting to go full John Q or John Wick. It gets frustrating as hell dealing with them. I had to come up with funds out of pocket for a test for my son...not easy in my world. Was F'n ecstatic when I get the money in my hand that put me over the top...could tell you who it was and where I was standing. That test made the difference that start things headed the right way.

I don't like the game, but not going to end life as I know it either. It sucks though.

Word is that he was going to come clean and blow the whistle on the insurance racket before the senate.

NO glasses or gloves either. Probably not a PRO but who knows now a days with the crazy political environment we're living in.

I’m curious if he may have been shooting subsonic rounds combined with the suppressor to muffle the noise and the subsonic rounds were causing him to clear the failure-to-feed or stove piping. Dirty ammo will do that too.

Yes I quoted myself for context lol

17% of their subscribers are denied coverage.
We went thru the denial shit storm with them with one of the kids cancer for 7 years.
A fight every day.

Cancer is an easy $1.000.000.00 medical bill.

Ya still get a copy of the medical bills though it's also billed to the insurance.
My colon cancer was over $1,240.000 +

Alice breast cancer flirting with $110.000 + and she has in-house treatment coverage. Her new boobs are an "enhancement " so that charge was on us.
Ali just now got a phone call it's covered. But that wasn't easy to get.

Sons Lymphoma rolled over $2 million, blew way past it. Dual insurance then kicked in, but not cooperative, not easy.

My youngest son being born premature and staying in the NICU for a month, combined with my wife being in the hospital for that same pregnancy on bed rest for 5 weeks, cost our BCBS $250,000, but only cost us $1,100.

Shooter has shit stance is a poor shot and experiences multiple jams. Potentially left dna and carved insurance claim denial buzzwords into bullets. Only smart thing he did was ride the bike to Central Park where he could change outfits and dump the bike without being on camera.

One of the comments hit home for me.
In an unrelated story, 1,000 Americans today died from denied procedures and their families are now going through bankruptcy from medical bills.
When my mom was toward the end, she refused medical care because she didn't want to lose everything she had. The county wanted her to become indigent before they would consider covering her. (she was unable to work and had no insurance way before Obama care). Anyway, after she passed and I was working through her bills and estate, I called the county to work on settling her bills and when I told them she had passed, they said in that case everything would be covered. Turns out all you had to do to get covered was die. So yeah, I'm having a hard time feeling any sympathy over this guy's demise. Maybe that makes me a bad person, I dunno. But it's how I feel.

That's a topic for a different discussion.....

I had a non-blood family member basically bedridden for 3 years and also with dimentia....she'd go find whatever doctors she could that would clear her of the dimentia diag on one of her good days, and used that to revoke power of atty and power of medical from other family members....Everyone but her knew she'd never go home again, but she paid some gardener guy who somehow talked her into trusting him well over $1M to do stupid shit like build a bocci ball court in her backyard. In 3 years of laying in bed with no quality of life whatsoever, she burned through many millions of dollars. I was not in the will, so I don't give a shit about what she did with her money, just that it would better if it was in the hands of the family and those she loved rather than pockets of the medical industry and fucking gardeners.

I've instructed me family to simply shoot me or poison me when I get to the point of no return....no reason to spend all that money for nothing.
