This kind of has my attention. I think it’s pre def but I need to verify that. It’s older so I’m not sure what that does to the loan but it checks a lot of boxes. Or doesn’t have the outdoor tv but that’s me just being picky. Prices on these are kind of all over the place. I’m going to look at it Saturday but I’m not even sure I’d make an offer yet.

Definitely pre Def. But in my non expert opinion, it is overpriced by 30k at least. Plus it's going to need tires soon if not now. I like you like that Floorplan but that thing is way overpriced. I could be wrong but that's my opinion.

I agree I was thinking the exact same thing. It will need tires and if you zoom in on the roof it looks like it will need a reseal also. I want to get a good look at it. If it’s just dirty I won’t be scared but if there’s any water damage or something that scares me I’ll just pass. Dirty and tires and reseal might help get me where I need to be. But he guy selling it is a friend of the owner which I thinks a little weird but what do I know

I know a few folks who sell stuff for others. Usually it’s due to time of the owner

You are correct it is pre-def. That coach has either a LLY or LBZ duramax engine and allison transmission depending on when the chassis was built.

I also would agree that 83K is priced higher then it is worth but super C motorhomes are like deck boats now. People pay a premium for them.

I feel I like everyone is still shooting for the moon but that ship has sailed
They probably bought them during covid when prices were to the moon, and rates were still low. Now they're sitting on major negative equity and don't wanna come out of pocket to pay off the difference. So, they sit on the market hoping for that lucky offer. . . .

I saw the same thing you did on the roof. Sketchy. Looks like he might have taken care of everything and neglected the roof. IMO only.

Oler but now we are talking a price I might not have to finance
I mentioned it when we spoke, but these are great rigs.

I'm not crazy about the cabinets being painted, but you could always repaint them yourself with some elbow grease if you wanted a different color or better paint quality. Those year Winnabegos are solid, and that rig has an awesome family layout. I have 2 friends with that same year / floorplan, both have been awesome. I'd see what kinda deal you can swing, use the painted cabinets as a bargaining chip and see if you can get them down closer to 20k. If the roof is good and the coach is in good shape, thats a great motorhome for the money. No RV loan is PRICELESS, you'll really appreciate that when the kids are super busy with sports and the RV just sits covered in dirt with spider webs on it........trust me

Checks all the mechanical boxes - Long wheelbase chassis, 3V V10, good size fresh, grey and black tanks, full size storage compartments, 5500 gen, 2 AC's and good layout for family. Need to check if its 50 amp service though, they did make a model with 30 amp but it still had the 5500 gen. Ask the seller

Easy to maintain, no expensive Diesel Pusher issues to worry about, plenty of power to tow stuff. Just a solid gasser coach

Sent it to my wife again and this time she likes it 😂😂 sent them a message honestly as bad as I want a super C if this thing is in good running shape it’s the most responsible thing I could do. In a few years maybe I’ll have more cash saved up but if this can do the job I think it’s perfect. Wife likes the white painted cabinets 🙄

I’d bring a second set of eyes with you, maybe even a third. Judging by the photos you’re going to need to replace that flooring soon. Its already separating in the kitchen, cracked around the front floor register and highly doubtful they caulked in front of the tub so every time someone stepped out of the shower water was probably sneaking between the floor and shower pan. Cheap or amateur installers always think it’s a good idea to line up the joints, so hopefully you can use that to get the price down.

We've been looking too. It seems like there's lots of good deals in the Phoenix area, and I found this one the other day that seems like a decent price and a guy could probably get a little lower .

We have been toying with the idea of selling our motorhome. It's a 2008 Holiday Rambler 34SBD bunkhouse with the Ford V-10. The list of upgrades and maintenance is long and I think it's as clean as you can get for one this age. I haven't looked at prices to price this, but I'm throwing it out there...

If you decide you want a Seneca, let us know. We bought an ‘07 last year. Stephen did a ton of research and can tell you what to look for/avoid. I will say they have an almost cult following and hold their value more so than other rvs.

Don't I know it. After 3 days and many mother f bombs. It's all dialed in. I had intermittent brake issue happening. Also, I know it's dirty. That's how it was when I opened it up. Magnet retainer clip had broke also. I cleaned and put new assembly.

3 more weeks! But that trips not exciting me. Pismo is what I'm looking forward to.

@BHC Vic It's still worth it!

Yup. Did 4. I told someone, this and tires are the only times I'm happy it's not triple.

Went and saw this today. Much nicer than the pictures show. Anybody know anything about registration with the new tier 5 or whatever. What would a fair price be realistically. I think 83 is high

I can register in Az using the house there but my buddy said Arizona is right behind California. I don’t know how I would do Montana

It’s pretty simple, you paying cash? Haven’t read the whole thread.

I did mine through here a few years ago, my father has had his for 10yrs.

Fees have increased no doubt.

I have 34ss same year. It has an lmm Duramax chassis in a 2007.5. got mine pre COVID and it will roll 100k tomorrow or Monday. I have had no problems with it since I bought it. Added 600 watts solar, 400 amps lithium, a victron inverter. I can stay out more than 2 weeks with no problem.

I believe 80 water and 40 or 50 black and gray. Also 90 fuel.
Haha. I was thinking, holy cow 90 gallon fuel tank. Then it clicked in my head we are talking motor home and not trailer. Boy, I'm not firing on all cylinders this morning and I didn't even drink last night.

Those aren't terrible numbers. My toy hauler has 120 fresh 80 Grey and 40 black for comparison.

When you take into account that most aren’t dry camping and the rv parks have showers and rest rooms it’s great. I know I prefer to use the campground/rv park showers at a lot of the places we go. No need to attempt to save water just relax and take your time!!

Agree. I use my tanks a few times a year. Still prefer my own shower. But I let it run when hooked up! 🤣 i think for most trips the number you stated is good enough. If you're spending a week, we'll better think it through.

If I fit in the shower I’d use it more!! My head is about 3in into the skylight!

No issues here, several items
They are talking about the new FinCEN rule effective this year. All these MT Corps folks used to avoid sales tax or reg fees must register the Corporations Applicant/Beneficiaries name, DOB, Address and DL# with the US Dept of Treasury Crime Enforcement Network. Effective 1/1/24 existing corps have a year to report and new corps have 90 days.. This came about from the fake corps created to grab millions in PPP money, I doubt the Fed is going after Bob & Karen avoiding sales tax on their $500k RV in their home state.

Yeah I already did that, they just want to know who owns the corporation. They are after people doing other things not so much the rv, boat or whatever toy people.

100%. There were LLC owned by other LLC etc, to hide the managing partners for tax sheltering. Thats what they wanted to fix.

I have filed taxes on my LLC, nothing to hide.

So with the RV and the auto leveling jacks do you guys pull up to your spot and push the button on do you get out and put pads under the jacks?

When you’re parked at home and storing do you keep it plugged in? Plug it in every now and then? Run the generator every now and then? Do you have the leveling jacks down while stored or just park it normal like a truck?

I live in Norco and it’s dusty… is it ok to put a cover on? I think the super c I’m looking at has a canvas type cover, is that ok? I really don’t want to get an RV port but I also want to take care of this thing. It says it’s fiber glass and gel coat? Can I wash it and spray wax it?

I do in the sand but if its hard pack or asphalt/concrete I do not. I am sure others will say you have to but you dont. LOL
Some say if you have 6volts being plugged in all the time the converter charger will dry them out. Not sure if thats true but when I did it on my gasser I would have to add water to my 6 volts. When I had a trickle maintainer just clipped to the batteries I never had to add water so take that for what its worth. every rig is different.
I go out and run my generator every month for at least a half hour. Cycle the ACs as well. Do you have to no but I like to.
If I remember you live in a more rural area with live stock and such so you will want to check on it constantly for critters as the love RVs to hide in. field mice/rats & cats
Covers are a pain in the ass LOL.

Think hondo covered most of it. I can't speak to the Jacks. I have to do all that fun stuff manually. I'll go be poor somewhere else. Lol.

I do not keep it plugged in. I have a solar panel and charger. So it just stays like that. I do put the leveler down as much as possible to help keep weight off the tires. I think that's what hurts them. Sitting in one spot with weight for long periods. But that could just be me overthinking it.

Like hondo I run the generator and cycle the ac's. I won't say monthly because I might not see it for a month. But definitely every other month.

As for cleaning it. I use a lot of the stuff I use on the boat. For example the cap ans roof were really the only filthy parts when I brought it home the other day. I washed those and just wiped the sides down with aftermath boat spray. Made for gel coat and fiberglass right? My plan is to one step it, with wake up ceramic boat wax by shine supply, twice a year.

Edit to add: covers suck! I don't even know how i would get that big heavy ass thing up top.
