Update(1500ET): Sky News and others are reporting that for the first time of the conflict, Hezbollah has launched a drone attack on a navy base which lies south of Haifa. The Atlit navy base which was targeted lies 80 kilometers from the Lebanese border. This is an attack significantly deep into Israel and reveals an extended range of Hezbollah missiles. Likely as things slide further, and with Israel keeping up its intense airstrikes on Lebanon, Hezbollah missiles will begin reaching further and further.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said late in the day Tuesday (local time) on X: "We will continue striking Hezbollah. Anyone who has a missile in their living room and a rocket in their garage will not have a home."

Israel's military has been repeatedly claiming that Hezbollah is storming missiles, drones, and ammunition inside people's homes in the south of Lebanon. "Our war is not with you, our war is with Hezbollah," he warned in the message emphasizing that Israel won't stop its strikes.

The captain of the uss tucson stated they can shoot missiles" when iran came out with high speed torpedoes " they can put wholes in us, but when we hit them they won't be there! I seen vids where I believe tactical nukes or just below were used, when you see the Shockwave rising what was there is no more.

You know Hezbollah started this shit, when they raided Israel, killed innocent people, raped women, and took hostages - they are pussies that hide and put military centers in public areas where civilians will be killed. if Hezbollah sucks in other nations into their conflict, they deserve whatever hellfire Israel sends them.

I mean, that was Hamas, this time, but if it walks like Iran and talks like Iran, it's probably Iran. Not sure why we should be spending money in this fight, let Isreal pay. But let's be honest about who is fighting who..

Again, I don’t give a rat’s ass what Israhell does, just stop using us as a piggy bank and getting our soldiers killed.

Can you name a war where Israhell sent their soldiers into theater to help us?

My bad, I should have said Hamas not Hezbollah, but they both have the same agenda - eliminate Israel. You can’t condemn Israel for finally saying they’re fed up and not gonna take it anymore.

To be honest, I get Houthi, Hezbollah and Hamas all mixed up. Same ideology, not fans of ours and certainly not nice people. That said, our government is spending billions there, and in Ukraine...to protect their people. We have citizens killed almost every day by people here illegally. The Oracle said my "isolationist ideas" were worthless, but F'm, spend the money to help our country first.

On the other hand they flattened Gaza. What else is there to do everyday. Certainly not going to be playing on their phones or pagers. Might as well build rockets. Poor mans Elon. 😂

Israel said on Thursday it had secured an $8.7 billion aid package from the US government to support its ongoing military assaults on Lebanon and Gaza and to maintain a "qualitative military edge in the region," Reuters reported.

The package includes $3.5 billion for critical military purchases and $5.2 billion for air defense systems, including the Iron Dome anti-missile system, David's Sling, and an advanced laser system.

I was there (Beirut) in (Navy) 1983. Fuck Iran. I hope Iran jumps in a little deeper, so we can level certain aspects of that country’s leadership.

Never forget 1983.

“Early that Sunday morning, the first suicide bomber detonated a truck bomb at the building serving as a barracks for the 1st Battalion 8th Marines (Battalion Landing Team – BLT 1/8) of the 2nd Marine Division, killing 220 marines, 18 sailorsand three soldiers, making this incident the deadliest single-day death toll for the United States Marine Corps since the Battle of Iwo Jimain World War II and the deadliest single-day death toll for the United States Armed Forces since the first day of the Tet Offensive in the Vietnam War.[1][2] Another 128 Americans were wounded in the blast. 13 later died of their injuries, and they are counted among the number who died.[3] An elderly Lebanese man, a custodian/vendor who was known to work and sleep in his concession stand next to the building, was also killed in the first blast.[4][1][5] The explosives used were later estimated to be equivalent to as much as 12,000 pounds (5,400 kg) of TNT.[6][7][8]

Last 4+ decades.

This is an opinion from some one who lives there.

But after nearly four decades of its existence and two decades of its total dominance of the country, it is clear that Hezbollah’s power is built on a foundation of false morality and what can only be described as miserable impotence in the face of Israel.

For all of its rhetoric about protecting Lebanon from Israeli aggression, Hezbollah’s actions in recent years have done more to destabilize the country than to safeguard it. And now, with Israel’s recent infiltration and systematic dismantling of Hezbollah’s military apparatus, the cracks in its image are more visible than ever.

Over the last few days, Israel has executed a series of devastating strikes that have exposed the fragility of Hezbollah’s once-feared military machine. From exploding pagers and walkie talkies to targeted airstrikes that have decimated Hezbollah’s command council, the group’s forces have been shattered.”

Many of the "stored" munitions are not there for us. The US is like a flooring company, stocking a warehouse. The weapons are there for the Israeli military as well as our own. Israel shares what tech they want to, not much joint, but the US is probably the same. As for US soldiers on the ground, if there were, we wouldn't know anyway. Just like "we have no boots on the ground" in Ukraine, but there's a lot of evidence to dispute that.

Israel is worried about themselves. Really, any country's number one priority should be itself. The problem, as I see it, our leadership worries and pays for others before it's own.

We’re allies and we’ve supported many of their missions through intelligence and support equipment as I’m sure they have done. We’re also a larger MIC and therefore the two way street is understandably a bit lopsided, but we continually fund their shit, along with spilling our kid’s blood in the region.

As I’ve said numerous times, I don’t give a rats ass what Israel does to those goat fuckers over there, just do it on your own dime. And if you need support from our troops, then we expect the same.

We have more bases than we should...no reason to be the world's policeman or piggy bank.
The point is we do have bases there and not for fluff the billions in Israel's stockpile is separate from our billions so talk about funding at least it's not being stolen by Ukraine and the U.S. government! So since 2017 a permanent base was established where are U.S. bases in Ukraine, and now in 2024 folks bitcoin about our tax dollars blame yourself. Your mother and fathers, and grandparents for not watching their elected officials, when it comes to world police we are a joke, we'll sanction you, says the world laughing stock

Our stockpile, currently, is handed out throughout the world. It is not as separate as one may think. Current military leadership has been sounding the alarm for quite some time. We haven't been on a war footing in a production sense, yet weaponry is being used like it is. Sanctions don't work, bombs do. We sanction those problematic people in the media, while arming and funding the local opposition. Sure, we have a "permanent" base in Israel...but we have 2 smaller "temporary" FOB's in Syria...over a decade old. We have soldiers in a country that one of our allies is attacking. None of this is about right or wrong, it's all about money. Why the hell did the US build it's most massive diplomatic complex in Lebanon a couple years ago? Is Lebanon the heart of the middle east economy and manufacturing? No, not at all. It's almost as if they new something was going to happen in the area...

And this truly scares the shit out of me. Not being Russian or having any insight into Israel's plans (other than killing the Hamas, Hezbulah and Houthi threat, past this war) I don't have a clue what will be coming to the world. What are the two frontrunner's global goals, I guess is my question.

One thing stood out from the "Speech" to the UN yesterday. Netanyahu, said whatever you do and whoever you are, if you attack us We Can AND Will Find You!!

I believe him, AND whatever "Brandon" says from here on out does not matter. You are either Pro-Isreal OR Get Out Of The Way.

All of this has been pre-determined, and all the intervention is a wasted effort.

Been some rumors out that Friday a few US warships were hit with drones. What seems weird, these rumors were on English/western sites (2), and not on the Islamic sites that would be bragging. The stories are now gone? Also a rumor of a missile strike on a US base in Jordan, but no videos of any of this stuff.

The bigger news for the Israelis, they started something called "Order 8". Apparently this is some sort of all call for military reservists. Basically, grab your stuff and report to your station. Sounds like gearing up for a ground operation.

The special forces are already in, the assassinations are from embedded isriali mossed types that have lived there for years, can't exactly remember but I believe there was some Syria migration deal.
