In 2013 I purchased a pretty good chunk of Nvidia stock at $19 per share. It has split 4 times.

As of today, each share of that $19 stock has turned into the equivalent of over $2700. Everyday it just keeps going up. It went from $598 a share last week, to $688 today. Analyst are predicting it goes to $800. It’s all they can talk about on wallstreetbets on Reddit.

My wife and I are dancing around the house. We cannot be in better moods. We are just so friggin happy!

As my wife said earlier today…….. We made enough for a new 32’ World Cat, just since last Friday. You have no idea what a great feeling it is. I might go so far to say……. It feels better than cumming! lol

I feel like I am on the Game Stop ride, and it feels fantastic!!

Ok…… back to being humble. Sorry for being momentarily happy.

Not worried at all. I don't own any NVDIA personally. He just put it out there so a lot of us have followed along. Its a big hit no matter and I wish him luck going forward. He has done great with his initial investment regardless

Dow may be heading for worst trading day in a long long time, Nasdaq is almost in correction territory, all that said keep an eye on some great quality stocks that have and are dropping just because of investor fear and are following this trend these past few days. The negative about owing so much in taxes is that I cannot jump in and out of Nvidia. I am stuck taking the ride, unless I want to cash in. All I can do is HPR. Hope….. Pray….. Read! LOL

Several years ago, Nvidia had gotten up to approx 475 per share, then dropped into the hundreds. We lost approx 2/3’s of our value. We were kicking ourselves. Since then, our shares have increased by over 3.5 million. Let’s hope this dip has the same outcome.

Either way, we are rewarding ourselves with a nice vacation this year. 24 days Down Under.

I just went with what was already in this thread. To be honest, I have not looked into our specific tax implications because we have never considered selling anytime soon. It should be noted, my wife handles all the investing specific details. Besides a law degree, she has an MBA and finance degree. She is my investing Captain! lol
