Hemet golf club this morning, 0640 tee time. The good, missed an albatross on the first hole, 8" left of the cup. The bad the other 17 holes, lol!
Won 8 skins on 3 holes and one closest to the pin.

No . Only playing 130 with pin up front. Solid strike, hung it out slightly to the right. Caught rocks and bounced back. Hit the same club 4” from the pin, rolled 4’ by. Made an ugly 4

It’s a tough hole the one and only time I played that course we played every tee from as far back as we could find! Made for a fun round! We played for $125 for a foursome in August! Oh to be 22 again!

It was a bit more than that today. It was my 3rd time playing it. The last time was hungover on Saturday after/before Stagecoach. I played lights out after a slow couple of holes. Today, I flushed 15-20 balls on the range and didn’t put two solid shots together again until a birdie at 18 (which was actually 9).

We have a home in Palm Desert and resident cards. Both 18's at DW are amazing and for $52, one of the best deals in the desert. Classic Club is a beautiful course, and challenging. You can almost always count on at least a breeze at CC...Enjoy....Fore!!!!

These gloves are garbage. Who makes a tough glove? This one is a Taylor made. Going back to Amazon.

Played Iron Wolf this morning. They let me go off first as a single, which was nice because they weren’t having it last weekend. Played in 2 hrs 17 minutes. (Back in the house before 9:30)
Course is looking really good. Greens are firming up, rough is filling in. They’re still putting plenty of work into the course. Had to have at least a dozen workers out there and a cart girl for the handful of groups on the course.
I really like the new holes, still hate #6.

Part of that was I hit 10 greens in regulations so no chipping it close, the greens are huge for the most part so even though I was on I was left with a ton a green to cover.

Shot 13 over with only 1 birds. Had 2 eagle puts on par 5s. One was a 3 putt par and the other was the birdie.

For sure the best driver day in a long time.

PGA West is the one and only course I’ve had a sand wedge bounce off the green! And that was back when we still had square grooves and titleist balata golf balls!!!

I'm still getting used to mine but I do really like them. I'm running all PXG irons, Cleveland zip core wedges. Pxg 5 and 7 wood and a ping driver. That 7 wood has been a game changer. I love it.

I went went 5 iron through wedge originally. But I order the gap wedge and had them bend it a bit to try and cover a certain distance on a full swing. It just came today!

It’s pretty ridiculous. As close to Augusta conditions as I’ve ever played. Greens were slower than usual this weekend. Got one semi-bad lie in 2 days. Even that wasn’t bad.

First 11 were scrappy. Didn’t have a putt outside 15’ from 12 on. Hit driver better than I have in a long time.

With a decent round yesterday of 83 I dropped to single digit index, this one feel pretty good when I 1st started using GHIN I was in the 9s for a bit but that was before I had a lot of rounds in it so I didn't think it was accurate. Went up to 12ish for a while and finally started driving back down.

I'm sure I'll junk back over 10 soon lol.

Last 2 rounds had 44% pat or better so that helped.
