It should be real close to fitting stock.

When I level it I will probably be screwed. Not sure how I’m going to handle that.

Never drove one that alone measured. Jumping in with both feet.

Pull the lift block out of the back. Then level the front.

Nah I will pay someone to come detail it or just wait until night time to clean.
Only reason i want it to fit the garage because I like to drink gay beer and detail my truck in the shade in weekends.

Enjoy the covered wagon rear ride height :)

The stock lift block is pretty small, 2”. The truck will still have a rake even stock if you pull it. The Tremors have a 3 inch block.

I have a buddy with a 17 f250 on 37x12.5 that is bone stock in the front and the rear block deleted, sits level and looks good.

Already signed some of the paperwork. All I need to do is hand them the check and sign a few other things and I’m done.

Should be out of there in 30minutes. Some guys say 15min. But I’m gonna go over the truck and have them note anything wrong so Ford can’t say it happened on the drive home.

I bought them 96/100k premium warranty
Flying in & driving home?

Nice! Glad to see you’re getting your truck. We need a burnout video, lol. Looking forward to your thoughts on the drivetrain.

If you have a gooseneck hitch and make it to PHX, we can throw my Andersen hitch in the bed and drag my 5ver around. Really interested to see how it tows. Like a boss, I’d guess.

Wait you bought a truck and sold it because it didn’t fit but then decided to order one that you don’t know if it fits?

Every truck is different tho me and my brother have the same exact truck and when they were stock his was taller then mine.

Once I put the kings and upper on mine it’s still shorter then other with the same kit.
Had to crank on the kings to get it to sit the way I wanted.

I agree get rid of the block. You said if you get a trailer only towing it 30 minutes.

The new 7.3 and 10 speed is no slouch. Think it’s 15k bumper 17,500 5th wheel.
It’s the holy grail of gas trucks.

I don’t ever drink any koolaid until I make it myself.
Company’s and people that believe in a product will say anything. Hope it works out for you!

Gas truck? No way. Once it gets going maybe but I couldn’t imagine towing in traffic or in the city.
I would love to see the new 7.3 10 speed do a towing test vs the old, venerable, super mega fanboy Diesel PS 7.3. I’m sure the new one will absolutely dogwalk the OG Powerstroke.

For the majority of truck owners, that don’t have to pull a major grade to leave home, the Godzilla makes a lot of sense.

Keep in mind, most truck owners don’t have to pull a 6-8% grade at altitude for 6-10 miles like those of us in some of the western states do. When I visit the Midwest on vacation, there are plenty of small block 3/4 ton trucks and ecoboost F150s pulling fivers, For most of them the typical weekend is 100-300 miles of relatively flat ground to get to where they are going.

And the salt on the roads will rust their trucks to absolute shit in 5-10 years. So no reason to own a diesel.

If I didn’t do a 5k mile trip with my trailer once every year or two- or have to pull some serious grades to get out of town from PHX- I would own a 7.3/ 4.30 rig.

The 7.3 with the 10 speed and 4:30 gears rips. It’s not a diesel. Floor the truck, drive up the hill and move on.

Get some miles on it so we can get some real world MPG numbers to compare. I finally towed a 30' twin slide travel trailer last weekend. Reset the gauge. Avg was 9.7 from pick up and drop off. The hills I didn't floor it but got on it and easily maintained 55 mph going up. Empty my best is 15.7 round trip to Parker that's going up Chiriaco. Nothing like my Duramax but it was 15k less than getting a Duramax as I got employee discount for all that was not available on Duramax.

That's a fact.

Right around 8-9 mpg pulling 10-14k toyhauler.
If you drive 55-60 you can do better.

I’m expecting 12-13mpg empty on the drive home.
I won’t have a good towing test until October when I pull a travel trailer to June lake. I bet it will be 7-8mpg. These things are real thirsty.

I love mine. How long have you had yours?

I drove one, and spent 2 days in a moving van with one that just had the 6 speed behind it and was impressed. Considering one next year. I don’t tow enough to need a diesel and have a fast car to go fast in.

Driven a couple 6.7s with the 6 and 10 speeds as well to compare it to.

@Bowtiepower00 i hear you and this are valid points. I still rather spend the extra money and get the diesel. Better resale, mine just wants to eat when I peg the pedal, don’t ever think 2twice on a grade going to az in the summer.

I totally agree, for those of us who live in PHX, with 75 MPH speed limits and long grades at elevation in just about every direction.

We are the minority. For those who tow primarily in Cali with a 55 mph towing speed limit, or those in most of the country with small or moderate grades not at elevation, the 7.3 makes a lot of sense. At a 8k? Savings. I will say this- the 6.7 10 speed combo is the most impressive drivetrain I’ve ever experienced in a truck- and it’s worth the cost in my opinion. It runs like a tuned
Diesel from any other make.

Does it pencil out compared to a 7.3/ 4.30 rig? Not for most.

Would I order a 7.3 rig WITHOUT 4.30s? Absolutely not.

I agree with you on the resale factor.

But I can’t reiterate enough the effects of rust in areas that salt the roads. It absolutely DESTROYS the vehicles in 10-15 years in most cases. This lessens the diesel benefit, IMO.

If I had it to do over I'd get the 3.73.
The 10 speed kinda negates the need for 4.30...

I’d argue the opposite. All of the overdrives favor the 4.30. 3.73 will barely be used. ALWAYS get the deepest gear.
I can speak from personal experience I would not get anything but the 430 if you're going to tow anything over 15000 pounds.

Well today is the day. 8 months after ordering.

Sitting at the Airport number 1 of the day.

Should be in Iowa at 2pm if all goes well.
Hell yeah. I was looking back on the thread and you should be able to fit it in the garage. Mine fits in the garage on 35's. I think the opening for ours is 7 feet. Only thing that hits the rubber stripping is the antenna on top. The roof skims by with no rubbing with less than half an inch. It was close!!

Also removed antenna on the hood and replaced with one of those 50 caliber bullet deals.

It’s going to be close. I want to do a 1” or 1.5” level with 295/65/20.

Do not baby the transmission, keep your foot in it until you're up to speed. My service truck drives and shifts much better when driven like this. Light throttle confuses it and makes it shift goofy and sometimes slams a shift because its not sure whether it should upshift or downshift and when it finally decides it will be a HARD shift.

Well it couldn’t decide when I was leaving the dealer and I almost got T-bone on the highway
