That boat has been sold 3 or 4 times in the past 2 years. The OG owners had it for sale for 65k epic lifestyle bought it. It at a clean boat I may have gone with a different color interior personally. But whoever bought it must like red lol.

Pretty certain you’re thinking of a different boat.

Is that a wrap or the original gel?
I believe it to be a wrap, Epic Lifestyle’s posted it the other day so i assume it is either for sale or will be super soon. I know it’s sexy.

How fast is a f26 with 800 hp inboard. At DS a guy was mourned next to his f32 at the heat that had a f29 with a 700sci and he said his best was 109 mph. Curious how much faster a 26 would be

Also curious how much hp the 26 needs to break 100mph with 4 passenger.

I have an M26 with a 525. Best I’ve seen is low 80’s. I’m guessing you would need to be in that 700+ horsepower range to see 100mph.

Beautiful Mach!

I’d say your estimate is spot on. Back in the magazine days it seemed like 750hp was the magic number for most 26’-27’ cats to break the 100mph mark.

Mine is a 500efi with an early whipple, I'd guess 600hp. Itll run mid 90s with two of us, good amount of fuel and all our crap

I’ve broke 100 by 1-3 mph, but typically close to full of fuel, being ProCharged i don’t make boost for planing, but with a 30p yesterday i saw 98 with 800hp. There’s a few F29’s with the 700’s and they run honest 93-96, to get the 109 sounds like a little fable even with a stage 3 unless low fuel and nothing in the boat.

I’m certain i can pull bigger numbers if i took everything out of the ski locker, etc (2 anchors, 2 sand spikes ropes inflatables ladidadida) but that’s too much effort for a brag.

Yours being an open bow probably scrubs 3-5mph too.

Pretty standard rule, 100 up per 10 mph. Good starting place. Been in several mach 26's, Daytona 25's at well over 100(116) and the math plays out. Takes about 880 to cross 110

700sci at stage 3 is 865 hp. Stage 4 is 910

Also I bet a nxt torpedo is a lot more efficient then bravo based prop drive on drag

Spot on. I’m around 700-750hp supposedly and I’ve ran 95 with 4 people and around 3/4 fuel. Closed bow.

Why does some have drive extensions and some dont? Some concept as outboards? Gives it more bow lift?

which one accelerates quicker?
I never stood on the I/O out of the hole because it would have eaten the drive quickly. My O/B Mach was actually the fastest accelerating boat when Hot Boat tested it along with a bunch of other boats in their shootout.
