Great point. So is it your belief here then that nobody has ever reached the edge of this flat earth?
TY

I'd like to see NASA images of the earth from the Moon... before I EVER CLAIM FLAT EARTH....

ps, I've never claimed the earth was flat... I enjoy reading Flat Earth sites... lots of questions that make you go HHHHHHMMMMM

Have a great day

i watched Apollo 13 yesterday night. Definitely some parts that made me laugh. I don’t have enough time to care whether we did or didn’t but the movie was funny.

And honestly it’s a little weird that no one cared about the mission but then there was trouble and all of a sudden everyone tuned in. I dunno but I could see why people would be suspicious. False flags are a real thing I guess. There’s even a scene in the movie about it though.

So for $13k, you too can go to the moon!

The only problem is, you'll be dead already...

That’s an easy one……Pictures taken through a round porthole at varying distances.

BTW, didn’t that already come up in this thread?

I swear to god as soon as NASA opens up the sign up sheet for a one way trip to mars, rmarion and bentprops are going to be the top two candidates even if I have to spend a year repeatedly submitting their info.

Alternatively if NASA needs chimps for the next phase of testing, I’ll petition for using these two instead as I’d rather see chimps live (and chimps would be better conversation).

- Me, patiently waiting for a rich flat-earther to fly a plane West along the equator untill he passes the same spot twice ...

View attachment 1319406
That doesn't really make sense, the equator is a circle on both the flat and round models. What you want to say is fly south. Of coarse thats against the law. You will be turned around at the sothern 60th parallel by fighter jets.

I'll play . . . .

Here's a pic I took of the sun setting behind Santa Barbara island. (Catalina Island is to the left)
I took the pic from up on the bluff (approx. 50 feet ) at Dog Beach in Huntington Beach.
The island from where I took the pic. is almost exactly 60 miles away.
I've been to Santa Barbara island at least a couple dozen times . . . I can tell you there's plenty more island below the horizon.

I'll look for a pic. I took from the same spot of San Clemente Island . . .(more to the south).
A much bigger island, (and much taller) and almost the exact same distance away.
I've been to San Clemente island at least 50 times . . . and again, I can promise you there is much more island below the horizon.

And if you STILL don't believe me . . . well pick a day, a clear day . . . we can leave Huntington Harbor at sunrise and you tell me how much of the island you can see along the way. At it's peak, it's roughly 2000 in elevation . . . we'll stop for a pee/ coffee break 1/2 way at the east end of catalina . . . if you wish to continue, it's only another 30 miles . . . oh yeah . . . bring advil, it's a small skiff. 🤣
Im sure thers plenty. However that island is 2097' tall. You should just just barely see it on the ball model. What you think you see can very easly be duplicated on a flat plane.

Still waiting for someone to tackle this one.
Why are all full solar eclipse when the moon is at the new Phase? Why can't it be seen AT ALL before or after the solar eclipse? The whole thing can be seen at every other stage. Yet the moon is missing in action when we have solar eclipse. Your in luck on is comeing this year. Solve the mystery that the world seems to be quite silent about.

You can't figure that out? During an eclipse, the moon is completely interposed between the Earth and sun. See that little new moon in your diagram? The sun is illuminating the other side of the moon when the moon passes in front of the sun. Imagine the sun directly to the right of the new moon.

A total eclipse of the sun CAN'T HAPPEN during any other phase of the moon.

I'll try again. The sun appears to move behind the moon during an eclipse due to the rotation of the Earth in its orbit. The point of view of the person seeing the eclipse moves, not the sun. The moon doesn't move either. It stays stationary from our perspective on Earth before, during, and after the event. Being a new moon, it's not visible before, during, and after the event.

A total solar eclipse is only visible in a narrow band across the Earth because of the positioning of the moon and the rotation of the Earth.

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will be visible to fortunate observers in the United States along a narrow band, approximately 115 miles (185 km) wide, that will cross fifteen states from Texas to Maine.

I hear what your saying however when its a Waxing/Waning Creasent you can still see the full roundnes of the moon even tho its only 14% lit up.

That's because the moon disc is illuminated by sunlight reflected from the Earth. It's called Earthshine.

Yes but the non illuminated part is still visible
There's no excuse for intentional stupidity.

If you want to see a moon with earthshine, look for a thin crescent moon the few days before and after new moon. And when you see a crescent moon shortly after sunset or before sunrise, you can sometimes see not only the bright crescent of the moon, but also the rest of the moon as a dark disk. That pale glow on the unlit part of a crescent moon is light reflected from Earth. It’s called earthshine.

US moon landing mission in jeopardy due to 'critical loss of propellant'

1704769831329.png

The Peregrine lander is also carrying remains of several "Star Trek" cast members and DNA of President John F. Kennedy, Sky News reports.
Those guys must be rolling inside their orbital coffin now. 🤔 I hope the glitch is getting fixed fast, there's no charging station between Earth and the Moon.😂

You know I stayed out of this thread until now..

If you are having a little fun it's one thing..

But at some point there's gonna have to be a minimum intelligence requirement to be a part of this forum. If you truly believe the earth is flat.. Even though you can quite literally fly around it to the other side..

You are probably gonna log off voluntarily or involuntarily.. This is fucking crazy the stupidity being displayed here. I'm assuming it's jokes.
