Some trucks go to Mexico but not as many as you think primarily it's four-wheel-drive, SUV, and any Jeep Wrangler.

That's just remembering where you parked, it won't locate the vehicle if it's been moved.

Did it fly away with out power? Lol
Unless they towed it, ignition goes on they drive and stop somewhere. So it will give last location ignition turned off.

And not just if you got out of truck w cell connected. My son had his phone also connected to my truck. Fucker would text me and say hey your in this area stop and get me this.

Don’t know 100% haven’t had any newer truck stole yet.

You are talking about the maps app on your phone, correct? To the best of my knowledge, it's a feature that was added to the app that detected vehicle motion as opposed to walking/running and was designed to help you find your vehicle in a large parking lot. If the phone is not in the car, it has no way of knowing where the car was last parked. It (the phone) has no idea when the vehicle is powered on/off or where the vehicle is. The phone only detects that it was moving in a vehicle and uses gps to locate the place it was when the user stopped driving and started walking.

Thats correct and it also uses the bluetooth disconnection to determine you have left the car.

That sucks, hope you either get it back soon or they keep it for at least 30 days.
I probably should activate the Lojack on my wifes car.

Any luck finding it? It sucks having to worry about parking anything outside, either overnight or in a parking lot. I still use THE CLUB on my steering wheel, even though I daily drive a cheap car, but hey, maybe if a useless thief sees that my wheel is locked, maybe they will leave my car alone.

Nope.....

I don't think that club is much help in stopping someone.

Well, we know where it’s not at, it’s not in your driveway...so I’d say Peoria is more probable.

I hate that feeling when you walk out and your vehicle is gone.
It sucks big time.
I hate thieves.

OK....It is showing AZ 101 South, Peoria not an actual address. So, I am doubting that

Looking at it again there is no movement so maybe its abandoned on the fwy? Hopefully the mofo who stole it got in a shootout with the police and they took em out on the 101....lol

I'm in a meeting but, can head over there in about an hour.

Does it give a cross street with the 101?

Thanks guys but in this case not necessary. I don't think it all works right in my truck regardless however....if it is on the fwy abandoned or whatever I am sure I will get a call soon. If it is a shootout with a friggin thief and they are dead that is a good outcome :) and I will hear from the soon as well.

The "Marked Location" on the map is still the same. I could drive there in about 45 minutes or so but I don't think the truck is there.

Just keep your eyes out and if seen call the police please.

Just a reminder:
2017 Platinum F-150 White lic# CA 01718E2. NRA sticker on the rear window in the bottom left.

Stolen out of San Jacinto area sometime last night. (Monday night)

If you see it please call 911 and report or me at 714-514-3721 right away.

The police have been notified.

Thanks

No cross street just the 101 S Loop in Peoria.....Looks like it could be South of N 83rd Ave though

Don't worry about it but if you happen to drive that way keep your eyes open.

Thanks

There was a garage door opener in the truck. I don't think my home address is in there but if he is coming this direction to get in my garage he will be met with an unfriendly welcome for sure. Lets just say it won't end pretty for them.

What is the current location? Still southbound 101 in Peoria? I can cruise that way I'm 5 minutes from there.

Doesn't looked like it has moved at all. Same place. 101 S in Peroria
Lat 33.6419
Long -112.2362

This is why I think that is maybe an old marking.

Thanks

Just checked the 101 for several miles in each direction and didn't see it, checking 83rd Ave now. Do you have a screenshot of the map? Lots of frontage roads and parking lots around this area

It shows it actually on the fwy....I am hoping to see in the news a scumbag from CA was shot dead in a stolen vehicle on the 101 S :)

I really don't think its there.

If you ever get up to Cave Creek let me know and I will get ya a beer or two.

Thanks

I just checked those exact coordinates and didn't see it. If you get an updated location post it up I'll be out and about for awhile. DPS everywhere around here so if it was there long there's a decent chance they saw it and possibly ran the plate.

Maybe a better theft deterrent would be a chunk of C-4 under the seat with a remote detonator. 20 minutes after the vehicle is stolen...light that bitch off. Once this happens 40 or 50 times and the news channels pick up on it, I bet thefts (of non-POS vehicles) will slow down considerably.

I love this idea.....

No big deal. My office is nearby.
Went from the I-10 to the I-17 and it isn't there, or they already picked it up.

Yep....going to do that today
Send me a PM with your phone if you need help. Some of the brands are different, and of course you can probably find instructions online. On modern machines usually you will need to locate a programming button, then hold it down for a designated amount of time to clear it. Light should indicate when it's done.

Its just an all white 2017 Platinum with the NRA sticker. Not lifted or anything like that.

Police called me a few hours ago and they have nothing on it.

Wouldn't hurt to call the PoPo in that area.. give them a heads up regarding what your tracking is indicating....

I changed the garage code. If they show up here (doubtful) lets just say you will know by in the AM. No mercy if they are that stupid.

Screw it Tom, get a check from insurance and go buy a new truck. I'll buy you a couple at Mt House.
