You got too many numbers in that license plate should be no more than seven.
" get it back with LoJack"
No chance you have a phone, tablet or computer in the truck you could track?

Sucks. I had a neighbor who walked parked his f250 way out in the parking lot of a walmart. Walked in to buy one item. Walmart Video showed the truck was stolen before he made it to the front door.
Curious how these fuckers even steal these modern vehicles which dont even have keys?
Wait till that system goes bad and you’re out in Timbuktu and can’t start your truck ...you’ll have to pay again to have it removed and cut / spliced wires repaired .A few of My cars Are tracked with a GPS system I paid $220 hidden installation with two years of unlimited service it even has ignition kill.
That's weird I can go on MyFord and it tells me where my truck is at any time? Good luck
Totally sux! I had a car stolen years ago and wound up in El monte totally stripped.Betterif you don't get it back some times.
Did you have any work done on it recently? Handing over the fob, it would not be hard too "clone" it and they already have your address when you take it there
I think the keys may have been available for the thief....
I think maybe the My Ford thing might apply if a vehicle is leased?
Just so you know.....zero possibility of any kind of legal repo....
Just for the record.....lol
Yeah I didn’t mean to imply it was repo’d [emoji106]

Tom, it sounds like both of us do the same thing with our truck k _ _ _ s.... LOLI think the keys may have been available for the thief....

Sorry, I really needed it, I'll have it back in a couple of hours.
Seriously, that fucking sucks.
It's probably to late to set being you're not next to the truck but maybe give the following directions a try and see? (Keep track of your parked vehicle with Ford Owner), https://owner.ford.com/content/ford...rked-vehicle-with-ford-owner-mobile-app.html/I think the keys may have been available for the thief....

Keyless entry car theft explained
Keyless entry car fobs or cards work by emitting a signal that the car detects when it's a few feet away, allowing you to unlock the doors and start the engine. Thieves can exploit this wireless technology by getting hold of a relay amplifier and transmitter on the black market, then finding a car parked close enough to its owners house (where the key is).
While one criminal stands by the car with a transmitter, a second walks around the perimeter of the house with the amplifier, and if the key is close enough it will detect its signal and send it to the transmitter. At this point the transmitter effectively becomes the key, allowing the thieves to gain access to the car and even drive it away. The whole process can take just seconds and be completed in virtual silence...+ more info here, https://www.carbuyer.co.uk/tips-and-advice/166001/how-to-avoid-keyless-entry-car-theft
Maybe a better theft deterrent would be a chunk of C-4 under the seat with a remote detonator. 20 minutes after the vehicle is stolen...light that bitch off. Once this happens 40 or 50 times and the news channels pick up on it, I bet thefts (of non-POS vehicles) will slow down considerably.
View attachment 703608 Do you have an iPhone? If linked to your truck. Go on maps on phone. Mine tells me where my truck is parked at all times
That's just remembering where you parked, it won't locate the vehicle if it's been moved.View attachment 703608 Do you have an iPhone? If linked to your truck. Go on maps on phone. Mine tells me where my truck is parked at all times
That could be how they are stealing them tooIf you have the Ford pass app you can see where the truck is. I have it on my 2017 f150. If you don’t have it you might try downloading it and seeing if it pull the location up. You’ll need the vin.
Side note: it’s a pretty cool app. Start/unlock/lock the truck from anywhere. Tracks maintenance, fuel etc.
That's BS.. guaranty of a couple payments weren't made on the truck they could track that fucker instantly!!Just talked to Ford as well as my dealer. No Lojack so they can't track it via GPS.
Shit......All the info that damn thing provides and they can't see where it is? Yes they can.....they just don't want to get involved with that type of stuff.
Damn it
FYI ; having Arizona plates doesn't affect license plate readers they work the best with a reflectorized plates and all newer license plates are reflectorized
the cameras are infrared so they scan about 1000 plates a minute day or night 24 seven. You be shocked at some of the data I get off of the systems.
As to OnStar and his other systems most smart crooks , read tweakers, pull the model immediately that's why you need to have a completely independent battery back up installed system. But in the end even though it's not tracked other than by police lo Jack is a pretty good deal it's battery-powered so unless a strip the entire vehicle are likely not to find it.
