Health insurance is the one that is toughest for us going forward. Since 08' or 09 or whenever the dems Hillary/Obummer fucked it all up. Gas in our area of Ca is 4.67 today, up from a week or so ago. It was close to 5 bucks a gallon at the end of 2007 so pre current inflation gas prices were way worse back then at the end of the George W era. We almost never get fast food but do shop healthy and food is now big bucks even with an empty nest. I remember a gallon of milk in Hawaii back in the 80's/ 90's was super expensive and wonder how it compares to milk in Ca today. 2016-2019 were the best recent years in relation to this stuff prior to the scamdemic from my perspective. I have a part time 14 or so hour per week semi retired guy who is below medicare age but gets anything he needs healthcare wise including chiropractor ... such a joke that it actually pays to be poor and unmotivated now.
