So a new Magic deck is 135k with a Merc 520, that's within +/- 10k of a new fully loaded Nordic 26' deck. Not sure that's enough of a price break for not having a substantial manufacturer and the best customer service in the industry standing behind your purchase.
bingo.......

You forgot the extra 2 feet of length :). That said, if the pricing is accurate, that is about where it should be.

Or you can get a 25 foot Howard with a 6.2 for the same price :)

i dont think you can compare the 2. Im a big nordic fan but the 26 is quite small inside.

was just thinking that and if thats the case my boat is worth 350k

Here we go with build costs again.

I'm not saying a Wildcat is the best boat on earth, but they are a nice solid boat at a good value. You are not going to hear many Wildcat owners complaining about them.

@2FORCEFULL with the fastest mofo on the water.

I am by no way comparing the two boats..

Yesterday though a 07 magic game in with a 525. Boat sold in one day for 95,000.00.

If someone is paying almost a 100 for a ten year old used boat? There’s a demand for these things.

Absolutely mind blowing to me. You can go see Thane and with almost no haggling get a loaded 26 (I know it’s “smaller”) for under 140

Nevermind that’s exactly what was just said. Lol.

For $15k less they could have bought Vic’s boat. :)

When buying a new 28’ deck boat is 150k+ And there is no cheaper equivalent, this is what happens to the market.

I did learn the bottom has another step added and has been straightened up.
Also added bulk heads to stop and flex. Which wasnt bad on the original but it did flex some.

There was a little flex on our 04’. Not noticeable with normal loads and conditions. If my wife planned the trip and the wind kicked up you could hear a little. Wouldn’t stop me from owning another one.

All the later built magics had twin steps. Thats one way to tell if they changed year on the hull. If you see one claiming to be 2009 with a single step, somethings up.

Check out the Magic DCB just upgraded. It put it on a level to compete with Howard and Nordic. The tired old Magic interior really hurt the styling next to newer boats. I believe this just brought up to par or at least very close.

No doubt, I’m sure it would up the price pretty well, if Horizon was able to get DCB Carlos doing the interiors or semi copied that interior with someone good like Main Stitch they would definitely lose that old look. I tease the Magic a lot calling it the Bayliner of the 21st century but they are still a great looking and rising machine.

Yup. Better drop that cash before the economy dumps[emoji383] or better yet maybe spend 200K [emoji383][emoji383][emoji383]on a new boat instead of just redoing the upholstery.

The only one that's coming to the top of my brain that is deep tunnel is Nordic & E-ticket. So when you say "all deep tunnel" exactly whom are you referring too?

RD
RPM?.....Howard?...….my assumption is prolly skewed as I have not painted any tunnels that were not deep in the last 10 years...…….but that is only Nordic and Eticket

RPM?

Howard is the talon bottom etc.

The only new deep tunnel bottom decks to my knowledge
