Where do you source your lines and fittings? I'm planning to redo mine this winter.

I buy most of my fittings and hose from G&J Aircraft in Ontario. They are close to me. If they don't happen to have some of the items I need I'll order from Summit Racing.

looks terrific brother, super clean... when using the black braided line gents be very careful there are a few brands that get brittle super fast. I was wanting to do my Day Cruiser in all black and was talked out of it, at the time the good black braided lines were 2x to 3x the cost. I source all my stuff from Deering Indsutries, I have known Mitch since I was a kid, if you know him he can be polarizing for sure but the dude knows his stuff. He is the one that turned me off of the black line, actually ran into him at the Long Beach circle races and he grabbed me and took me to a boat that was on the trailer, beautiful wood decker just redone and all the black lines were hard as a rock... also you have to use Teflon for fuel anymore don't chance it.

I have had good luck with the black braided lines as well. I changed everything over on the sand car last year and have no issues. The boat will be next as the old SS lines age out.

Woah now, that came off of of that 'ol handcranker manual mill? I need to know more, cause I wanna do that kinna stuff just turning handles...

As always, beautiful work.

BTW, I am still grumbly with the Bedliner.

Yes sir and Thank you!
Little bit of Dykem layout fluid, lots of measuring and scribing the layout, mill the slots, cut the pattern on the bandsaw, clean up the edges with a pneumatic chamfer tool and there ya go lol

As for the Bedliner, it was a cheap way for me to cover up the 47yrs of age in the floors where the clear flow coat was stress cracked and also where I cut out old wood seat supports and ground the fiberglass down. I like it. Had it in the last couple boats I built.

Mounted my bilge pump, pulled the water pump impeller and spark plugs so I could crankbthe motor over to make sure the oil pump would prime after changing the oil pan and pickup tube. Only took about 30 seconds of spinning the motor for it to build up pressure. I was concerned I might of had to pull the distributor and prime it that way. Everything is wired now also.

With some recent life changing health problems with my inlaws, things will be changing in my life. It sucks getting old but that is life. Anyhow with that being said, this boat being boat #2 , might be going up for sale.
