Another work of art, damn that looks great. You definitely have the skill set to build badass trailer’s.
Couple questions if you don’t mind, what are the spec’s on wheel/tire sizes, are those 10” fenders and lastly can you reveal who you got the fenders from?
You definitely have the passion 👍🏻!

Wheel and tire size ☑️
Fender width ☑️
Fender manufacturer?…….so do you “custom make” these? Do you sell them? Are you a distributor? Or is this some top secret shit that’s made out of unobtainum 😁.

😄 I don't make them or sell them. A buddy of mine who owns a sheet metal shop hand forms them for me.

Trailer looks great, the best thing about the triple axel is that you can drop it low and not drag that bad in and out of drive ways due to that third axel being back further. Love how you got it low and the fenders and tires are just right! I may just be a bit Bias towards the triple axel but there is just no argument that they don't look cool.

My dad built trailers on the side and made a quite a few, he loved sitting them as low as he could. My Day cruiser is a half inch lower than I had planned because dad had the torch when we were cutting the uprights down, I wanted 4" he wanted 4.5 so, I had to share my fender pads to the boat and it a nats ass from rubbing.

Yours looks killer as well 😎👍
I used torsion half axles so I could set them anywhere I wanted and do not have to worry about any of the bottom hardwear

Making a new transmission mounting plate. It will have a piece of angle bolted to it that the trans mount will rest on and bolt to. I will also machined a round bezel that bolts to the plate and captures the drive shaft tube.

Not sure if this is a common thing but I didn't like the cable slack so I made this little bracket to support them in the middle of the run.

I could be wrong but would some sort of a sleeve like Teflon be a good idea in the pass through?

Yes I would think so. I might make something but I think for now it will be just fine. It doesn't have and heavy rubbing pressure on the aluminum as it passes through

It makes sense to me to have some sort of support for the cables 👍
When I first saw it I thought it must rub, 10 years later looks fine but I'm not out every weekend either.

That's my thinking as well. I don't get out to play with my other boats as much as I'd like to so this one will be just fine haha

I'm assuming you made the turnbuckle pad mounts yourself?....That looks amazing. 👍 👍 👍
I'm sitting here thinking how the plate flexes at the outer edge with the wider mounts versus the traditional that look more like a square.

Yes I machined all the parts. Was a lot of work on a manual mill lol. I have seen a few boats done like this including a Schiada, Hallett Vector and my buddies Rush GN boat. It helps keep the plates from cupping. These plates are 1/8" stainless and still have plenty of flexibility with these pads on them.

Damn dude, you will definitely never have any problem with dry rot like the rest of us mere mortals that settled for plywood furniture.

What's the plan for attaching upholstery?

I don't recall what you were doing for power, but I have seen on wood rear seats, a flange across the top of the seat back to help eliminate the seat back from bowing under acceleration. Just a thought.

Great work as always, I dig your creativity and the energy you seem to find to keep this moving forward while running a shop with a six month backlog, raising a family, etc. Thanks again for bring us along.

My upholstery guys make them a snap in removable cover.

I will be putting my 548ci motor in this boat. I thought about the flex in the seat. Depending on where it fits in relation to the engine I might fabricate a support bracket off the motor to back of seat.

Thank you for the compliments. As you can see most of my updates are at super late hours of the night. That is when I find the time to work on this project 😁

Part of the reason for seat braces in my Canyon was having a place to mount some stuff, things are different now but you get the idea.

Started building my exhaust setup. Built 4.5" transom tips, cut the holes in the transom (was painfull to cut holes in the boat lol) and temporarily mounted them. Also got my tailpipes mocked up for now. When I get some more free time I will cut then back apart and build the inner pipes to make them fully water jacketed to the transom.
