It was on the list but we were too tired to go that far after a long week of training. I will definitely be eating there some time soon!!

Yeah I really think it just comes down to personal preference. The best thing about hard eight was the pork tasted like pork and the brisket tasted like brisket. They don’t over do the seasoning or smoke and the sauce is up to you. The pork ribs where so good I didn’t even put and sauce on them.

And Buc-ee’s is great I don’t think I’d be ok living close to one.

Ok got back home from Texas Friday. It wasn’t that cold and the people are very friendly. Finally had Texas pit BBQ in Texas at Hard Eight BBQ it was really good! I’ve had better bbq but that’s just a preference thing. But if I went back to Texas I’d go right back to Hard Eight.

Still making great memories with our 03! We’ve had it for 9 years and hopefully keep this thing another 5 or 6 before we upgrade but always on the hunt for a nice triple slide super C.
