Truck Country in Versailles did all the work on Tanks trailer. They are Mennonite & do fantastic work. Bee's Knee's Brewery in Versailles has very good food & beer.
Take 54 east outta Tucumcari & run it the entire way to LOTO. This is a hidden gem. It will add 90-120 minutes to your trip. It is stress free, middle of America, no big liberal cities, small town easiness. It doesn't have any wow I've gotta see that but you are relaxed entire way.
Get the pikepass for Oklahoma. It will save u a ton of aggrevation, time & $$ on interstate 44.
Just about every overpass the entire trip is shitty. Do NOT go down the middle of the lane, put tires on outside line.
Happy to help anyway I can. I'd do cockpit & bow covers with lots of painters tape along with bunch of tape on trailer & bow of boat.
New Bucee's in Springfield is perfect for final fuel stop on way here. I prefer coming up 65 from Springfield if you don't have a wide cat, gets you off highway...
Nicely done
We also use wood to heat basement & our entire upstairs but have central heat if needed. Wife is a pyro & loves messing with fires. We probably have at least 5 cord cut, split & seasoning for this coming winter. I enjoy doing all of that when the weather is much cooler & way fewer...
Thanks bud. Ours was a 308 Skater, a foot wider, a foot taller, & 2 1/2' longer than a 28 + a 1000 lbs heavier I believe. The last pic was F14's 28 Speed Racer beside us.
That video Tank posted was from Cig Rendezvous 2021 & as he mentioned it was pretty rough but not terrible
