^^^ Should have built a bigger facility IMO. The casino floor is only 10k Sq. Ft. They should have done a casino at least the size of the BW down in Parker. They have a built in customer base across the lake, plus a bigger hotel would have also fed the casino.

From what I was told they painted lines on the ground so when you pull up they can just visually see if it is over or not.

Honestly I don't know why they didn't put in a giant resort with steak houses etc? Seems like the bigger it is, the bigger the gold mine would be.

I see the resort has a small airport for private planes (Paved). Has anyone flown into to it. (Chemehuevi Valley Airport-49x)
Does it have shuttle service, fuel, hangar parking, etc....?

No fuel, just tie downs.

I agree. You have other Indian casinos in SoCal doing major expansions right now, and they were fairly big to begin with. I think a huge casino on Havasu with no other competition would kill it.

They are not going to be like that. If it is noticeably larger than they are going to charge an extra $10.

I’m over no matter even being a shortbed crewcab but I’d still get hit with the fee if I had a single cab or shorter wheelbase because the boat “looks big”!

I did not read every post but the new Policy for AZ StateParks went into effect May 1, 2018 and according to the State Policy, "Oversized" is defined: "Over-sized Parking is an additional fee for those vehicles or vehicle/trailer units that exceed 55’ in total length." Here is a link to the policy with the fee schedule on page 8: https://apps.azsos.gov/public_services/Title_12/12-08.pdf

They don't know their own policy? That extra 5 ft makes my rig just under.

Apparently your complaints regarding the "oversize" charge at Windsor have been heard. This is not official, but from a reliable source, that the over-length extra charge has been waved at this time until further notice.

I re-read your posts all the time about the Landings and the area. Awesome place and is my top choice right now.

Did the same guy that called code enforcement on RD call the head park ranger?

:eek:I think ya all need to find a new place to launch, I went through yesterday and besides having my yearly pass, the ranger had to get in my boat and make sure I wasn’t smuggling in extra people, he had big ass boots on and ground dirt mud and greasy footprints into my gel and interior, I had to lift my hatch and he checked in there, saw my quadrotor, said they only allow 1 blower per engine into Windsor so there was an additional $25 blower fee, I have a 3 axle trailer, every axle beyond 4 was $15 more, then he saw my 4 blade prop, got me $8 for the 4th blade, then we had to submit to a cavity search, the dude had sausage fingers, after all that, my old lady asked, “ can we just pull around and go through again”.
Yep, you guys need to head to site 6.

THEY STOPPED IT! I went in Friday, May 17th to Windsor to renew my annual pass and both girls said they decided to "NOT" charge the $10 for 50 feet or more 2 days earlier. Both of the girls/women working were very professional and cool. I said "it's a good thing they decided to take back that $10 charge cuz we were all gonna start paying the $10 with quarters. :)
