🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Can't pass this one up..... I had zero use for cash till moving to Baja.... now I need it constantly but its tricky cause if ya get pulled over the corrupt police actually have you show them your wallet [or so I'm told] .... so local Gringos in fancy vehicles with US plates hide cash in socks, and in secret stashes under carpet etc..... always keep a $20 somewhere just as a cost of doing biz if they get aggressive. So far not an issue cause Fernando is a beater that doesn't draw attention.
Don't you carry stacks of dolla bills around for your "concierge" and yo young bitches? 😂😂😂

I humorously can say……..

I use my Tour Boat passengers as my ATM. I boat them around for a couple of hours, ……in gratitude, they hand me cash. When that runs low, I take some more tours. Needless to say……. I always have cash.

That was before Apple Pay and 2% back on every purchase. I purchased a bed recently and it was $5K. I got $100 back. Maybe I should put that hundy in a wallet and carry it around so I fit in.🤔🤣 Cash is more like the Queen or even the Princess now.😜
Did you ask them if they would take $4700 cash ?

I laugh at the No interest/same as cash deals in stores.

Same as cash store promos have at least 8% baked into the cost. NOBODY gives out money for free.

Many stores will still give you a cash discount you just have to ask.

Always carry cash here, while it doesn’t eliminate the camera trail anymore, the digital swipe trail isn’t there. The places I frequent I feel prefer the cash and hence the better service.

Tonight I finished a job. He owed $5030. What's the cash price. How about $5000. I told him ok I will just skip dinner. Lol. He said come on now. I am cooking my Filet Kabobs now. Splurged over the tri tip steak I usually use.

It's not "free" money...

The CC companies, charge fools that carry a balance, 20 to 30 percent interest.

So when they give you 2 to 5 percent "cash back" for your CC purchase, they still make money on that interest they charged someone else!

It's free money to you. It's free money to them. But, not for the poor smuck that's paying BIG CC interest.

And to not take advantage of that, is just plain silly. You're loosing money every time you pay cash.

Example: I get 4 percent cash back at the gas pump and the grocery store, on my Verizon Visa card.

I use that 4 percent "free" money, to pay my cell phone bill.

I haven't had a "pay" a cell phone bill in ever since I got that card.

Capiche? 😉

Carry cash? Not for years, I don’t even carry a wallet anymore. I use my watch (Apple Pay) to pay for everything and I get 2% back on everything.
Well then you over paid by 5% lol.

If I can do better than the cash back by paying cash, then I pay cash. But yeah, if I can get a “discount” by using the card, then out it comes.

At least $500. Seems there is always a shop that will cash discount. $500 job, 4 pts from your cc, or $450 cash. Still works in da hood.
Cash customers are getting boned cuz businesses raise prices to cover cc costs

Always have cash, between two and three hundred.
This - unless I forget to go to ATM. Then it goes down to 60-80 on average

But I never have cash when the state park guys pull up on my beach site and are asking for money :)

yes, because adding another entity to complete a transaction somehow makes it less expensive.

I understand the covienience of it, and do use plastic, but in many cases it was cash or no go. where I am it is hit and miss with about 30% of places that either charge a fee or only take cash. I still have a charge account at the grocery, gas, lumber, and mechanic-parts store. settle them with cash, usually. Check otherwise.

I carry cash for when I go for a couple beers. Kinda rule of thumb for me if it's under $20 for a beer and snack = cash, over $20 = CC. Cash tip 90% of the time.

Grocery store auto checkout is the cash breaking hack of the modern day. I can't count how many times I've bought a pack of gum or a Bud Light with a hundo.
Fixed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

On cruise ships Ten $100's and $1000 in 20's, $200 in $5's. That's mostly for eating ashore and tipping money and I return home with a good portion of it.
Other than that usually a $100 bill and some $10's.

My daughter is 14 and is ALWAYS asking for $5 bucks, so I always carry cash. Now that she has apple pay that cash seems to stay longer in my wallet 😁

Always, usually $200 with enough in small denominations I have exact change. Being in a stage of life where I frequently visit bars I refuse to charge anything. Never have to close out and always feel like I’m gonna get charged extra.

What in the world is she wanting a soda and half of a burger? Five bucks don't buy much anymore

A few years ago I started taking all the $1 bills from the change I got and put it in my desk drawer instead of my wallet because ones were always crumpling and didn't fold very well for my flat wallet. It's sort of became a habit and now I have about $1,500 in $1 bills stashed in the bottom of my drawer at work. Next time I go to the strip club I'm getting bottle service🤣

Wouldn’t work in california. We just stand in front of the self checkout for a few moments, pretend like we paid and just walk out.

Red Bull or gum is for when you are pushing a cart out the door and want to at least have a receipt for something. Be sure to put your cart back though.
