Been years since I've been to Baja. I was on business travel to Mexicali for awhile and made a trip to San Felipe. Pretty cool little town with a lot of people cruising around on ATV's. Must admit that the road from Mexicali to San Felipe sucks.

I remember being in Rosarito with a bunch of friends in high school. We were 17-18 years old and being rowdy on the beach. The federales/policia came and started to gather up the drunk people and two of my buddy's got detained in the round up of about 20-30. They had everyone's hands zip tied and sitting on the curb but there were only like 4 policias amongst all the guys they were handling.

We knew they were for sure going to jail for the day. We were across the street watching them and I see my two friends talking and laughing sitting next to each other with their hands tied. They looked at us and nodded like they were going to do something. Well sure enough about 5-10 minutes later, as soon as they saw an opportunity to bail, I saw them both do a backwards roll towards the sidewalk and they started booking it down the street. We were in shock but the policias didn't even see them and no one else said anything lol.

We walked to our hotel room and they were hiding on the side of the building. We ripped off the zip ties and they were good to go. Partied all night after that.

Yeah. I was a regular down there from 18-20. Buckets was another 1. Got VIP treatment at several.

Lots of great memories. We would party locally and when TPD would shut us down we would pile in my Asto van and shoot down there..

One I will never forget. We had ate some I had they were like 3-4 grams each. We ended up at buckets that night and were having a good Ole time. Next thing you know our Buddy is on stage rapping. We were dieing laughing. I can say it was not the best choice to eat them and end up in TJ. Lol


On my 20th Birthday we were down there partying. I had 5 Girls I hung with at the time. They took me to the strip club for my Birthday. All I remember was waking up next to one of them asking what the fuck happened to my boxers. Just the elastic band was left on my waist. She said they had me on stage and tore them off.

He's maybe 45. Well he moved here and set this bar up real simple just a walk up with outside firepit and cool circle seating area on gravel. He and I got to chatting over last few months and he always teases me cause I bought and asked him to keep a pack of PBR especially for me while he pours all these exotic shitty brewed things to other paying customers. So he hooks up with a local gal 6 months ago and she moves into his house with 4 of her kids.... he was becoming a bit displeased apparently lately or so a mutual friend shared with me. Well, that mutual friend called me today asking if I'd seen him these last few days. This guy knows him well and he's a gringo from Santa Barbara married to local with their own children born here for last 13 years. He's concerned our boy might've been harmed cause he was unhappy and struggling getting his gf out. His bars been closed three days now. This local guy told me it wouldn't be unheard of for her to have her 'Buddies" just get rid of the guy! Yup.... don't think I'll be moving any strippers in my crib any time soon.

We need some pics to help us along fellas....Speaking of sisters, there's no way these two are but thats what my girl tells me so who cares. Noelia is around 5'10" and mine in maybe 5'4". They arrived from work around 2am which means Tuedays at a titty bar in Rosarito are dead. They took two choc magic bar bites and crashed and we woke up to sunshine on the patio around 10. I need to get a pic of them half naked lounging next time but didn't wanna be that asshole on this perfect day. They have enough guys stalking em each night I'm sure. My place is their escape. We grabbed some food down the block and I took this pic.... sister girl has some dead eyes for sure and these girls are only 25. Some may think its the hooker lifestyle but be mindful they've only been at it a matter of months.... what you see in that girl I think is poverty eyes... they are from TJ and they live in a shit neighborhood [Im told] Sister girl just got fired from Amazon and my girl is supporting her family and going to dermatology college while dancing, fucking, etc.... These women down here don't seem to possess that fake happy face that even broke ass USA gals do so well. I see smiles and eyes brighten when I catch my girls eye but I also see a weary exhausted and hopeless expression from time to time. Its a tough life here no denying .... and what is a life without hope?

Great question.... lets not forget ole Kevin from Harlem. I got a call from a guy I met at his bar concerned about his whereabouts again.... this guy is that Santa Barbara realestate transplant that married and bred with a Mexi gal 13 years ago. I had no idea why he's obssessed with Kevs situation but here he is again in my ear yesterday. I can see the bar from my perch so he calls stating his calls aren't returned and can I peek out and see if bars open or I see Kevs truck. A buddy was here and piped in saying he chatted with him Th afternoon as he sat emailing in his truck. I asked this guy why is he so concerned about all this? If he wants a beer he can come to my VIP suite. Well, turns out theres a beer keg distributor in Santa Barbaras ear saying Kev owes him $ and his 8 kegs and has gone dark on him. {Thats redneck humor cause Kevs black

It always adds up with people in the end right fellas. Winter tourism drop killed these local vendors. This town is all about tourist dollars. Spring break I hear is next week and many spots are salivating in the hopes they have a big score and kickoff to warm season.

You got the guys that enjoy a wild ride.. you guys talking about the ride but have never been on it and those to afraid to even stand in the line at the amusement park. I have very little use for the last two. They speak with absolute authority but have no real world experience.. they talk of why they would never.. but never have?

About midway through this thread it’s just trudging through these absolutely idiotic posts that are comprised of advice yet sometimes presented as humor.

Yeah we get it.. you never stepped up to a ledge to see the view or wandered into the great unknown to seek adventure and memories..

If your stories start with last Friday night you are still living life.. if your stories start with way back when.. we need to saw up an ice float and push ya into the breach one more time.. if ya don’t make it you weren’t living anyways.. if ya make it back guess what you are gonna have one hell of a story and your not dead yet.

It doesn’t matter your age or physical condition anyone can go out and live life or have a little fun.. If you aren’t doing either and are living in the past.. ya might as well already be dead.

Couldn't agree more. Last year my wife, her girlfriend, and I spent 23 days in Greece and Italy with 1 suitcase apiece. Home for only 4 days before driving to New York for a bucket list item - racing a vintage motocross at the greatest MX track ever built. Total of 24 days on the road. Tonight I'm snow skiing for the first time in over 15 years as a birthday gift to my best friend from high school. In April the wife and I are doing two more vintage mx races in Idaho and Marysville, CA.
Gotta do this shit while my 63 yr old body is still able.

Couldn't agree more. Last year my wife, her girlfriend, and I spent 23 days in Greece and Italy with 1 suitcase apiece. Home for only 4 days before driving to New York for a bucket list item - racing a vintage motocross at the greatest MX track ever built. Total of 24 days on the road. Tonight I'm snow skiing for the first time in over 15 years as a birthday gift to my best friend from high school. In April the wife and I are doing two more vintage mx races in Idaho and Marysville, CA.

Fuck Yea, sold some things a few years ago and slowed my roll some, took a breather.
This motivates me to get it going again.
