Nicely done Dan..... feels great eh....I dropped 85 lbs just mostly through escaping the USA diet.... HMOs, preservatives and pesticides from what I am told.... funny how fast it dropped off with just 3 beach walks a week over a year.... the loose skin is tough to look at so I'm beginning testosterone injections this month and beginning light weight training to learn if muscle memory is a true sentiment.

Muscle memory is a thing…it’s just harder to maintain as we age.

well done. 👍

I Find that if I over drink that is when the indiscriminate eating starts. Kinda go hand in hand unfortunately for me.

Wow, very impressed.
I just started Jan 1st so I have a ways to go.
You look really good now but you say you want to lose more.
What do you currently weigh and how much more are you planning on losing?

10-15 more, i was over 360 at desert storm last year, i'm just under 260 now, i think anywhere under 250 ill be good, ill still be heavy but think that will be a good weight for me. ive seen some people lose so much that they look unhealthy

Ya, under 250 would be good, sometimes to much weight loss and people start to sick.
You actually looked pretty good at 360, defiantly someone I would not want to mess with. You looked like someone who would kick ass and take names.
Congrats on your success, you did good.

100+ pounds gone,
Blood pressure 110/70
HGB A1C 5.5
Everything else normal

Who would have thought that not drinking and eating all day would have that kind of effect :)
Still more to go but feeling a lot better about this summer
New year, new boat, new me, looking up

Thankfully i really don't have loose skin, guess thats an advantage to being 6'4" but i think as i loose more that might be the case. when lose another 10 pounds i'm going to start working out,
I think if you were to get loose skin you'd notice it by now .... I've never gained/ lost such weight before in my life... always a fit gym rat type at 6'5" averaging 240lbs from 25 to 60 years of age... then Covid and retirement and I stepped away from all fitness for these past 4 years... lucky you and that tight skin. Regarding the weights, just be sure to start really light and be patient not looking too quickly for results... just enjoy the process.... I have been surprised how much mass, vascularity and definition is beginning to return with only 3 days a week hitting dumbells. Good luck

Congrats...!

One number you neglected was the increase in your bank account from not spending your cash at the bar...! That's gotta be a big source of pride as well.

I do miss your late night posts...

I’m gonna second this. I lost 45 lbs over the summer only to put 20 back on. I too had a 100 lb goal. Need to focus and stay on it.

Thank Dan

The weight loss is a heck of a thing to be proud of. It's not easy for anyone...well, except tweakers, but they don't count. When you mentioned above about not being inspirational, not true at all. From afar, here on the interwebs, a lot of us have seen you go through some trials. Starting over, changing plans...even things like dealing with illness and aging parents. Many of us can identify with those things.

No person is defined by one action or accomplishment. Perseverance though, that is an inspiring trait.

For all the guys looking to lose weight before summer here’s the trick.

Download the lose it app and track your calories. You get 1600 a day to lose 1 pound a week WIThOut any exercise. Want to lose two pounds a week add exercise.

You can scan bar codes and it has every food, restaurant etc option in its database so it’s real easy to use.

Its absolutely eye opening how the majority of food out there is shitty for you. With only 1600 cals you’ll start looking for healthy options to make you feel full.

267-218 over a year but had some setbacks when trying to add muscle back for 5 months and overate calories. So 40 pounds in 7 months basically.

Blood pressure down, a1c down, can actually watch my wife give me a bj now which is cool 🤣
