he's an interesting dude for sure . . . I couldn't see him doing anything other than politics.
I wonder what his other life is like . . . if he even has one . . . hobbies, interests etc.
He has a really odd demeanor . . . he processes things unlike anyone i've ever seen in an interview.
You get to thinking he's just railroading the conversation . . . then he answers a question head-on, and takes things in a totally different direction than what you'd expect.

I'll be very curious what Tucker has to say about it afterwards.

What people don't understand, Putyin is not like Nikita Khrushchev or Leonid Brezhnev. Those were real commie bastards.
Starting with Gorbachev, things changed drastically compared to thos dark days of Cold War era. Granted ,Putin was KGB, no different than anyone in the CIA etc. Take your pill, a white orthodox christian or a muslim leader to deal with. Fact that limey Boris Johnson thrown the wrench into the peace talk with Russia when visiting Zelensky early in the conflict, is the worst decision by a western leader.

If that is true, does that statement not conflict with what Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote in Gulag Archipelago?
Paraphrasing, it's been 50 years,,

(Just like the Chinese,) "Russia differs greatly from America, in that every 4 years in America, there is chaos, with the Presidential elections. Not in Russia. We have stable leadership with a 3-5, and a 10 year plan." (Just like China.)

"That is, to build our nuclear arsenal, until is is 3-5, then 10 times that of America. And then we will annihilate you..."

Not trying to give Tucker too much credit, but I'm sure he wasn't worried about Putin do any harm towards him. Putin is not stupid knowing that Tucker is more relevant to the American people than some of the crack heads they arrested/released in the past.
I think Tucker wanted to show Putin some respect to let him speak and get as much information about him, rather than trying to cut him off like the talking heads do on talk shows . :p Tucker did seem to be a little annoyed about the history Putin gave him [ not lectured IMO ] . I'd like to see Biden giving a 2 hr history tour to Americans, but we all know that could not happen.;):D.
I'm not on the Russian's side, I have lived under Russian rule growing up in Hungary, have lived in the bomb shelter during the Hungarian uprising in 1956. I was only 10, my brother 27 who got involved, captured and imprisoned in Uzhorod city in Ukraine. Luckily he returned year later to Hungary and was thrown in jail for another 3 years by the commie bastard leaders of Hungary who called the Russian Army to deal with the revolutionists to start with.
To get to the Crimea scenario, the CCCP made a big mistake giving Crimea to Ukraine in the 50's. Ukraiine was the bread basket for Russia, let alone a long time connection dating back centuries. Kiev was the central hub for Russia way before Moscow became the capital. Crimea was part of the Ottoman Empire until Katherine the Great took it. Don't see the Turks claim to get it back now.
Some people here claim that Putin would want to expand back to the old borders of the CCCP. We don't live in the 19th century, t Putin just wants Ukraine's eastern part back to the russian orthodox Christians, who live there. Of course he's pissed off the fact Nato is pushing to add Ukraine to the west's arsenal.
One thing I want to add, pretty much all hungarian politicians were jewish puppets at the control of the nation, until the collapse of the CCCP.
My half brother was jewish by his fathers side, never involved in politics, am not a jew hater!.
Some suggested, Putin and his cohorts would want Alaska back, lol. Russia should never have had Alaska, if the natives there would have fought them. IMO. Canada should have Alaska that's parted from Russia by the Bering Strait 😜😆

Another thing I want to add. Not a lecture , just information many don't know, don' care about Hungary I was born and raised there.. Just like I don't care about Ukraine! 😜 Soros and the EU all against Hungary as we speek !

What happened to Hungary after World War 1?
After the end of World War I, the former Austro-Hungarian Empire was dissolved, and its territories were divided among the victorious powers. Croatia, along with other southern Slavic territories, became part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, which was later renamed Yugoslavia in 1929.
Hungarians were effed.

1954 – General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Nikita Khrushchev, transferred Crimea from the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation under the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and becomes an area within Ukraine. The economy was gradually restored.

1970 – Rapid development of resorts and tourism. The development of heavy industry and chemicals in agriculture creates environmental problems.

1974 – U.S. President Richard Nixon visits Crimea in a meeting to start economic cooperation with the Soviet Union in the areas of airfields and highway construction as well as on the production of Pepsi Cola.

1991 – “Coup” in Moscow and arrest of President Gorvachev. The Soviet Union collapsed and Crimea became an autonomous republic within independent Ukraine.

Gradual return of the deported Tartar population to Crimea with the support of Turkey starts fears of a second revival of the Ottoman Empire.

2014 – The Ukrainian government of Viktor Yanukovich fell under a population revolt in Kiev. The Parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea voted to secede from Ukraine and for its annexation to the Russian Federation.

Right out of Hillary Clintons ass into Chris Wallaces mouth. Will that nasty piece of shit ever go away. All the wrong people got the shot.
Technically it was out of Lenin's mouth.

And now MAGA has replaced the Comintern, although equally useful to Putin, Xi and their goals.

Why would Trump's greatest cheerleader go prepare a Goebbels' quality propaganda piece with Putin all the while at the exact same time the former President talks about how he would support, no strike that, he stated he would "encourage" a Russian invasion of our NATO allies?

You are thinking that is just a coincidence? That Tucker and the rest of the MAGA leadership are not the modern Comintern?

You do know that Hillary made that comment before the interview had even aired?

You do know that "useful idiot" is a well known term from long ago used to describe people who would promote Lenin's propaganda, without understanding they were doing so.

You know, like we just saw with the Putin interview and most understood to be the point of Putin allowing the interview.

Face it,
it was a preconceived synopsis of a conversation that hadn’t even taken place yet.
no mater how the Putin/Carlson conversation went, the sound bite was already in the script.

The legacy media and communists' main tactic is CONTROLLING access to information by censoring or blocking opposing views. Notice who is criticising that you are actually able to hear the other side, never adressing the substance but just the fact that you can hear the information. Those people are your enemies.

I am, I’m rooting for us to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Out of curiosity, exactly how does supporting an individual who is publicly encouraging Russia to attack our NATO allies, where US soldiers and their families are stationed, is going to achieve your goals?

I’m missing the logic? 🤷

Lenin was said to have had "useful idiots", but that was actually somewhat proven a falsehood. In 1987, the New York Times did a write up, trying to find if he was indeed the origin of the statement. They looked through Russian records, Library of Congress and historical documents... The closest they could find in use for communist was penned by an Austrian-American economist by the name of Von Wises. He used the term "useful innocence" to describe confused and misguided supporters of communism...in 1947.

In this same article, from 1987, it goes on to point out that the term "useful idiot" has been used quite a bit by politicians here in the US. From the late 40's it seems, many quotes have been attributed to different senators, congressmen and other American political leaders to insult their adversaries. One of the most notable would be when Howard Phillips, a very "conservative" leader, called Ronald Reagan a "useful idiot for Russian propaganda"...

To get down and dirty about politics and the silent arm of propaganda, one must choose to see it is not just one country or another. They all do it, then point fingers and say "look what they do". One must be blind, perhaps a useful idiot, to not see we do the same here. Now, it is not only about telling your truth, but also hiding or erasing their truth. In the early days, it was only sharing your message. A short history lesson. Woodrow Wilson needed to gain backing for war. He ran a campaign on staying out of the war, but quickly changed his mind once in office. Wilson and his administration used well known people from the localities to speak and drum up backing for the war. These were known as "4 Minute Men". Local movie houses were the info hubs and meeting places of the day. News reels were shown, and films were watched weekly. It also took 4 minutes to change the reels. Speeches were written to seem off the cuff, and well timed, but to push a narrative. Really, not unlike celebrities are used today.

From Wikipedia:
"Wilson established the first modern propaganda office, the Committee on Public Information (CPI), headed by George Creel.[2][3] Creel set out to systematically reach every person in the United States multiple times with patriotic information about how the individual could contribute to the war effort. The CPI also worked with the post office to censor seditious counter-propaganda. Creel set up divisions in his new agency to produce and distribute innumerable copies of pamphlets, newspaper releases, magazine advertisements, films, school campaigns, and the speeches of the Four Minute Men. The CPI created colorful posters that appeared in every store window, catching the attention of the passersby for a few seconds.[4] Movie theaters were widely attended, and the CPI trained thousands of volunteer speakers to make patriotic appeals during the four-minute breaks needed to change reels. They also spoke at churches, lodges, fraternal organizations, labor unions, and even logging camps."

If more people learned history, and shared all of it, both good and bad, we'd all have a more clear view of the world.
