I personally do not agree with shooting them, but I do realize there are experts behind the science to save the species. To me it would be better to relocate animals, but the choice is to raise funds from controlled hunts. Really sad to me as I believe elephants to be highly intelligent and a species that should never be killed, but it is what it is.....managing the population to protect their future.
