Great news
F14 is buying back his "old" 24 Skater. It's new & improved thanks to Church Dog (Dale) with new 17 hour 300XS & 15" mid. This is pic when F14 owned it years ago.

More great outboard news. Church Dog bought a 32A Skater with trip 300X that I'm gonna pickup in Michigan, deliver to him northern Kommiefornia, pickup the 24 Skater & drag it back to LOTO for F14. Hope to mix in a few days on Delta the weekend of April 13.

YOU get around with NICE glass following!!!!and not a single bearing or tire failure? 👍
Got a piece of metal in rear outer tire on dually & had a trailer tire blowout between Michigan & home. Got 7 new tires on trailer, greased bearing buds, etc. 24 Skater trailer was just serviced & has 1 yr tires, all good.

Ran F14's 24 Skater yesterday. Good friend helped modify the bottom of the jack plate, installed a new piece of aluminum plate to block water from hitting jack. Worked great. Big thanks to Joe for lunch at Bulldogs. DeWald 31 x 14.75 was too big & very lazy. Ran to upper 90s but took forever & mid range was terrible. F14 has a 29p coming. Joe & KingofBeers have several props for us to try. Fun learning & testing

If you can find a 28-29 Hoss Hyperdrive for the skater they work really well.
Thank you
This 24 is completely different now with 15" mid & jack plate. Thankfully F14 doesn't even remotely care about top end, just wants good acceleration & would be perfectly happy with mid 90s.

How's the 24 Skater compare, lake p.a.l.?
Really need to test more props. It's a lot lighter now than when F14 owned it 8 years ago. Porpoise starts just over 50 & cleans up just over 70. Put it into a slight right turn & doesn't hop nearly hardly at all. We didn't really roll many miles yesterday but hopefully soon. I will report back.

How much weight did Church Dog yank out of it?We were chatting while the project was going on,and of course dog had HIGH expectations for a buck five plus  I think he finally came to realization that the OPti 300 wasnt gonna get him there,no matter how much he stripped the poor soul🤣

Not exactly sure but:
A few amps & subs,
3 big batteries, just 1 lithium now, along with all the 0 gauge cabling, no rear seat, not sure what else

“Just the facts Ma’am….”You say you want to be in Havasu”? Well, The Outboard Church is tearing up the town. I’d advise you to stay home where it’s safe.
