Delta rip tomorrow with my wingman…
Been awhile since I got some of the good stuff… I need this run. Ran the Cougar today to shake her down for tomorrow…she ran killer. 110 mph, 6700 rpm. Can’t argue with that.

Smoking Sunday…
I need nitrous to run in this class.
We were on blast for hours! What a fun run!
Limped in with a blown hub…prop nut nylock wore out and loosened my blade. Hub semi disintegrated and I idled a couple miles home.

Sorry about your luck Rev
Always double nut when you can
Did you run into N2otoofast4u & Bigdawgmini while they were out yotting?

No Yotting on Sunday. I left EARLY on Saturday headed to Havapuddle and Greg says he did some maintenance on Saturday (I'm guessing he made a list for the mechanic) and left early on Sunday headed home. We put 30 or so miles on the ol' girl Friday at about 11 knots. You can make a LOT of cocktails in that Yott at 11 knots

Sorry no pics, 11 of us piled on our cruiser & left dock @ 530pm. Temp was almost 70, dropped to 44° in an hour. Luckily we had our lil buddy propane heater & eisenglass so it was a toasty 68ish in boat. Had a great meal with wonderful friends. Hope y'all are enjoying time on the water

Looks AWESOME
What hull is that? What speeds do you typically run?
The hull is a Force F21. In that photo we are running mid 70's. First straight we hit 82. The boat has more in it but we haven't needed it yet. The prop shaft is 3 1/2" below the pad, everyone with a F21/300R combo in Australia is running the prop shaft 2" below the pad. Problem is the jack plate is maxed out on height and I have not had the time to raise the engine on the jack plate. I'll get to it eventually.

The fill is fed by a pick up that you manually engage so the faster you're going the faster it fills. The ballast dumps with a bilge pump and takes about 30 to 40 seconds to empty.
Soooo cool
Do they "empty" to the bilge/transom then pump from there?

No. Each ballast tank has it's own bilge pump plumbed to thru hull fittings on the side of the boat. The forward tank is plumbed to the driver side of the boat and the mid tank is plumbed to the observer side of the boat. You can see the three fittings on the driver side in the below photo. One is for the pump, one is the overflow so you know when the tank is full. I don't actually know what the third one does. 🤔 maybe just a vent.
