The hull is a Force F21. In that photo we are running mid 70's. First straight we hit 82. The boat has more in it but we haven't needed it yet. The prop shaft is 3 1/2" below the pad, everyone with a F21/300R combo in Australia is running the prop shaft 2" below the pad. Problem is the jack plate is maxed out on height and I have not had the time to raise the engine on the jack plate. I'll get to it eventually.Looks AWESOME
What hull is that? What speeds do you typically run?
Yes. F21/300R combo, front and mid ballast tanks, lightweight hull.Force?
Ffff ya!!!! How quickly can you add/dump ballast?Yes. F21/300R combo, front and mid ballast tanks, lightweight hull.
The fill is fed by a pick up that you manually engage so the faster you're going the faster it fills. The ballast dumps with a bilge pump and takes about 30 to 40 seconds to empty.Ffff ya!!!! How quickly can you add/dump ballast?
Soooo coolThe fill is fed by a pick up that you manually engage so the faster you're going the faster it fills. The ballast dumps with a bilge pump and takes about 30 to 40 seconds to empty.
No. Each ballast tank has it's own bilge pump plumbed to thru hull fittings on the side of the boat. The forward tank is plumbed to the driver side of the boat and the mid tank is plumbed to the observer side of the boat. You can see the three fittings on the driver side in the below photo. One is for the pump, one is the overflow so you know when the tank is full. I don't actually know what the third one does. maybe just a vent.Soooo cool
Do they "empty" to the bilge/transom then pump from there?
