Thought the last picture was copied till I saw the dock lines

Look at the decks....different yellow fades, too....
Dash is totally different set up as well.
One ran 126 mph, the newer one ran 130 mph....we ran both Nordics and the DW’s together....the all White DW with black 400’s is Sam’s and Bully has the red striped and white 400’s.

needless to say, we are having a damn good time...

Remember that June 22nd is the first Church Regatta in Havasu...Starts at London Bridge!!!
Lunch at Pirate Cove, live band, we own the docks and a fat section of beach.
No charge, no fees, no bullshit.
Just boating with our loyal congregation!
Be there and be seen! We will have some badass photographers taking shots of all the badass rides that show. Load the boats with plenty of hot girls and we will see you there!

The hull was designed in Finland...”C3”

It's a 24 ft Twister hull...just noticed the wide cockpit. Argo has a narrow, single front back seat set up. There is one in Florida running 125 with a 300XS. These hulls run in the offshore C class in Finland.

Did that DW make a long journey from up north? Thought that one was up in Canada?

Hitting the water at 6am tomorrow...
We are running the DW up to the top of the river again. Sam May show in his DW , so it’s going to be a festival of speed. If I wasn’t so freaking tired, the thought of two Doug Wright’s brawling for position would keep me awake.
It should be illegal to have this much fun. We lead a blessed life. I learned this in “Church” :D

Thankfully I checked the tide charts a 2nd time & realized I was wrong initially so we didn't go to Suisun. We had an epic rip with 3 outboard Skaters to Smith's Landing thru some serious wind chop. Thankfully the two 28's waited for me.:) AWESOME food, great friends, very good band @ Rusty Porthole. Alex, your 21 would not have liked the water we were in.

BIG thank you to Tanya & Bob once again. Their incredible hospitality seems endless, thankfully. They have a SERIOUS lineup of water toys, twin turbo Vector, 28 Skater, M31 DCB & a toon. Our Skater got spoiled spending the night.

Side shot of Talon is a great one. That definitely looked like Skater water out there.

We were just talking about a short blast to Smiths Landing on Friday night. Havent been there since it was Humphreys. That water definitely looked a little sloppy for my little 21. Im assuming that was out in the SJR west of False River. We were having drinks at the Riverview on Friday after I got off work and the wind was blowing pretty good right up until dusk.

Hmm:
I have yet to boat with any of the OBC people. This sounds like fun I might just have to make it up on that date. It would be a good quick run to check it out.
Putting it on the calendar...mainly because of Scott who reminded me to come out at least once.

My buddy, Mike Jones, rolled with me from LA back to “O” Town....so, I’ve been spoiling him with some grotto runs. 78 degrees and perfect water.

I really want to do a shootout with my DBR Cougar and the Twister....
I think it would be awesome !!!
Maybe Kap and I could get together and do some testing and comparisons.

I’ve done 122.44 mph...and I know there is more there...Kap says his ride has 126 mph in it...As you can imagine, this would be an epic shootout. Wondering who would get the hole shot...
Who would own the mid range....
Who will top out the fastest...??

Who has the fastest single engine boat in the 21’-24’ class???
I am confident we can have a shootout that would be very interesting.

I Would love to drive Kap’s badass ride and feel the big V-8 unleash its wrath !!!

Either way , it will be entertaining!!

BTW: Kap is a Church member...we would be racing our own team. :D

Careful Rev, those Twisters have a beautiful wide tunnel and a lot of new school technology. I would LOVE to see that Twister up close.

Pretty sure the Cougar would have the edge from start through mid-range speeds, although that V8 is a torque monster. I think the Twister(bigger hull) would keep it honest on top. Sort of like an F1 car and a Grand Touring sports car. Lol
