100% agreed Kev, I have gotten a lil better at reading the wind & tide guides lately but you always need to pay attention to your surroundings, as you very well know.

BIG kudos for venturing out there in the 21!!hope you gave her a nice soapy bath inside and out.dont have to tell you how hard the salt is on the new sparkley equiptment:(
Yeah, I gave her a bath back at Orwood before putting her to bed. I grew up sailing small 13' boats in the SF Bay. We would spend almost as much time washing and rinsing as we did out in the filthy salt water.

Exciting is a pretty accurate word. I hadn't been west of the Antioch Bridge in a boat I was piloting until sunday. When I had my old Sanger we launched out of Big Break Marina one time mid summer and got absolutely destroyed by fat rollers when we returned in the late afternoon. Ive stayed away from the waters out that way since.

We got lucky, the tide & wind matched up. We had F14 lined up to help with truck & trailer help or launch our Bay boat to help if needed. My Skater was fueled & ready just in case also. Never too prepared.

Lake Pal...
I do appreciate the kind offer...had some tractor work that needed finishing at the ranch.
I called my crazy buddy and we hit the afterbay full force. I raised the engine a 1/8” and went out and tried it.
Two people, full of fuel, 40 gallons, we ran 115.5 mph. We ran about 50 miles total, and we had a blast. I needed the adrenaline rush...felt good!

Bully, your DW is an awesome machine. We have 2 guys up here VERY interested in 35 Nordics but both want to see if Merc comes out with a bigger motor.
Got the smurf out yesterday for a lunch run to Garlic Bros. 2 28 Skaters, Boatmasters 26 DCB, & Dale's 308, amazing day. Dale saw 121 with 3 little people

Haven’t been up that way this year. What’s the building in the background?

I'm not sure, I've never even been but it looks like a beautiful area.

Nautical-Topock-Parker Dam( coast guard auxiliary [emoji1589])- mouth of the river. Sorry @bullheadbully not quite your normal run.

Edit: there was a ski race going on. But Jesus off plane 1/2-3/4 mile away wasn’t good enough lol

Sunday’s Sin...
I’d hit that like a cheetah on a 3 legged Gazelle.

My awesome wife said to drop her off in Benicia then continue boating to the Delta with friends since she had obligations. I'm a listener, so I continued boating.

Awesome run to the bridge and lunch at Tiburon. Glad they let the “fuel barge” tag along. I’ll post some GoPro video
