Not 100% sure if Verados have the same drain deal as the 4.6's but its super simple on the 4.6's. There is a drain valve on the mid that you just slide a hose over, crack it open, and then drink a beer while it drains.

Gravity feed comes straight out the bottom similar to the V-8’s but not quite as clean. The V8 drain is definitely superior

I drain my Cougar after every run. Oil is less than $10 bucks and it takes so little time.
lower units are super expensive...cheap insurance. Additionally, it there is any seal issues, you catch them before you end up with water in the unit and French fried gears.

Yeah Paul it is Awesome in Texas with gas prices. We have been here 6 months now and have not paid over $1.89 in the North Dallas area. $40 for the wifes Suburban and a little under that for the Truck.

Wife & I went to LOTO about 2 months ago for 1st time. Its incredible how nice everyone was, reminds me of growing up in western PA.
We hope to start looking for a small vacation house there soon that I could work on & vrbo when we aren't there.
