Close to 350 miles in the last 5 days. Someone is going to get a freaking killer boat! Finished yesterday even on a sandy beach.

All carbon fiber tater chip Mirage Qmaster not for faint-of-heart,has a time slip of 8.70@122mph at drags..not bad for a tiny 2.5L (NO nitrous) on a percentage of pump/race gas:cool:

Thats badass i love it. I have been learning about and really digging the outboards hardcore the past year or so. I cant wait and really looking forward to getting some seat time in my first outboard once we get it done

Is it Christmas in August ?
I think it is !!
Picked up a fresh 28 Blaster for the Canoe...

Looking forward to exiting some Delta turns with this new wheel. It will still get 100 mph, but it will get there a whole lot quicker.

F14 ran throttles most of the day while we tore up 118 miles of the Delta. We had a BLAST hurting some feelings of several much faster I/O powered boats that tried to hang in rough water & the turns. Huge thanks to Highvoltage329 & his awesome wife for incredible hospitality like always.
Will be sad to see Rayzors 30 with 400s leave the Delta & head to Texas...... He is going back to car motors & a Skater 368. I am CERTAIN he will be back to our Outboard Church soon enuf

I takes this much “Carboat” to run with that outboard. Top Eliminator class....with Bill in his Outboard, just under 1000 pounds.

Couple underway shots from my travels as a boat bitch during the Unleashed Poker run. I would have been running my own boat but Mercury has yet to figure out how to get a V8 outboard propshaft to live. Good thing I have great friends with cool boats to scoop my broke ass up when I break propshafts. Half day in Highvoltage329s Skater and a half day in lake p.a.ls Skater aint a bad way to make up for unreliable pos Merc V8 propshafts.

Rumor has it Mercury is trying to say they will NOT warranty THEIR propshaft that broke on KingofBeers 21' Liberator with 300R. This is the 3rd time it has broken. He does not beat on his equipment. Last time they asked for video which he provided. Merc asked Boatmasters to verify prop height, which they did. KingofBeers has his boat setup exactly where Merc wants it & these garbage prop shafts continue to break. I can't imagine how pissed I would be. What good is a "warranty" if mother Merc won't stand behind it???? Good luck Alex

You might want to check out the Ronhill CNC prop same prop half price

They are not the same.

I run the Hill because I am not willing to pay the additional money for the Merc. To some, the Merc is worth the extra $.

I have one. The mid range acceleration is non-existent and 3-4mph slower on the top end. Its a slug compared to the Merc. To Hills credit though, they have worked with me and tried to get it to run like the Merc but it just doesnt on my boat for whatever reason.

This sounds like a case of “ Bad Faith” on Mercurys part....
I smell a rat...
I’d keep pushing the issue. Class action? I hate attorneys, but this is not right. Mercury has faulty design problems???

Believe me, Id love to take this issue further. However, I dont have the time, patience and certainly not the money to take that on. Im on the hunt for a copy of Mercurys warranty info. I cant say Ive ever seen it in print.

What about the people who have broke shafts with less than 10hrs on them? Ive heard of several. So they break a second shaft and the Merc is going to tell them to pound sand if it happens again even though they have 2+ years of "warranty" left. I have over a year left and they are basically telling me to pound sand. Its absolute bullshit.
