I’m glad Gary called you. I know it’s been a long road but your hard work paid off. My wife and I have been under the weather but we would love to see you guys again! Your name will forever be on the Grand National trophy with many GN legends! I miss seeing that trophy at Heaths shop especially when Kaylee won! Yeah that puke tank has some miles on it! I'm guessing one of the inland lakes? If so, I assume you shook the place up a little.

It's called Molasses Pond, close to Ellsworth. 2 years ago I took a friend for a ride and when we pulled up to the beach a Warden was standing there. I assumed it was one of my Buds friends, NOPE.
Warden says to me you are done today, I've been looking for you for a few years. He would get a call but I was already back at camp by the time he arrived.
Kevin went to the town last year and asked what could be done, they mentioned a 3 day event permit, $350.00, done.
They tried to pull a short notice move, said a certified state weed inspector had to inspect the boats and trailers as we were out of state, Maine is very strict about that.
Kevin crammed and got the certification himself.
Had a fantastic 3 days, due to the hoopla leading up to the weekend a lot of people came out as meet and greet, nothing but positive. people on boats and docks waving and thumbs up.
I left on a Sunday and that afternoon they announced a special town meeting at 6PM Tuesday to prevent us from ever coming back.
The FB post on the Lakes community page blew up in overwhelming support for us, the Yea's obliterated the 2 Karens.

I let my friend with the wood decker drive my flat, first time I've ever heard it from the shore.

I met the owner at Big River RV park maybe 1993..?

1972 True flat Hondo that he only ran dawn and dusk and I never saw him leg it fully. Beautiful boat.

Ill have to ask Shane if he remembers it. I first thought it was a Hondo as well but that little lip around the dash has me wondering? Beautiful none the less, wonder where it is today.............
