Stewart - charging hard, closing in on RV. Then has to roll a triple that RV jumped due to medical flag. He quits trying.

RV - charging hard, closing in on Dungey. Sees the gap at 3 to go and realizes he will not catch him with the current pace. He pulls out all the stops risking a fall that could end his night. Damn near pulled it off.

Dungey - just does not have the killer instinct. He should have been in the lead by the second lap and gone by the time RV worked his way through.

Three great riders with completely different styles and attitudes. Who knows how it will work out.

Just a shame Reed is not in there with them.

JS7 didnt quit, its not easy out there. Stew are RV are so close in speed, thats all it takes is one minor mistake, and he won't catch RV

RV, horrible start, tried his best, lap rider got in the way, otherwise he passes Dungy..

Dungy: good rider, just not as fast as RV and JS7, nothing against him, those two guys are just faster, thats all.. If RV and JS7 get out front and are mistake free, they beat Dungy by 5 to 10seconds...

Happy to see Stewart not crash! What's up with these guys getting beat on the start!? Tuff competition out there. Good racing. I think Dungey lit a fire once he got past the Seeley or whoever it was. He picked up the pace for sure and that was good to see. Villimoto was trying like hell to get up there. His go for broke catch and pass attempts are fun to watch, he always reels it right back in when he hits the edge and thats a tough thing to do. I saw the yellow flashing at the triple and knew that JS was done for. That's too much time. Great night of racing for sure.:thumbsup

Should be good :thumbsup. Musquin will be riding the 350, I have a feeling he'll do pretty well. Will be on it at Daytona as well.

By far KTM's best selling model, it's not going anywhere. It needs lites rider moving up to ride it well, throwing a 450 rider on it is going backwards.

From racerx, then Reed's Tweet:

The strangest rumor I have heard in some time was Stewart possibly moving over to Reed's team?not during the current Monster Energy AMA Supercross tour, but rather for the upcoming outdoor series. Obviously, there's not a lot of love between Chad and James, but there is respect for each other between them, as well as a will to win. It's not happening enough for James right now, and it's not going to happen at all for Chad for some time to come.

@CRtwotwo Most rumors always have a little truth to em...

I can't see it happening, I think Stewart is @ JGR for Nascar & probably just really frustrated right now.

Holy shit, just when a season can't be anymore exciting....

Can't wait for STL race tonight, should be a good one. Any predictions???

I'm hoping to see hometown favorite Seeley in the top 5 if not better.

RV will win but with but not easily with some competition from RD.

I see the prince of darkness wadding and finishing mid pack.

Stewart has a three year contract with JGR. It would have to be a mutual parting of the ways. I doubt either party is ready for that right now.

I doubt it too. JGR loves Stew onboard, he's very marketable for them... As far as on the track, Stew's the one that keeps f***n up, I think the bike is fine, you see when he doesn't crash, he normally wins..:thumbsup

Its the same old story each week...:thumbsdown

JS7 goes down on lap 1, falls to last place... RV wins...:thumbsup

The last couple weeks have been completely different for Stewart IMO. He finally looks comfortable on the bike & his speed is finally coming around. Sure, the falls are still there. But, at the beginning of the season it was a fall & finish towards the back, now it's fall and come all the way from dead last to 3rd. If Stewart starts winning, I think it will help tighten the battle between the Ryans.

For sure, I agree w/you... Amazing he finished 5th... RV was really slowing down the last 3 laps, even RV admitted it....Dungey almost caught him, I was suprised... Can u imagine if JS7 was up there, he might of passed RV too... Would be really cool to see Stew and RV go head to head w/2 laps to go..:thumbsup

The season started with any one of five guys who could win the championship. And now there are two. And for stewart to have a chance he needs a couple of DNF's by RV.

And JS7 needs to stay with the wheels dirt side down.. He is his own worst enemy. No one is a faster rider than him but fast does not always win the race.
They will be here in Htown in a few weeks and I am super excited to see them again. Been a cant miss event for the last 20+ years for me.

That's too bad for dungey. Know this, these guys are in top shape physically, they are pushing it during practice and racing something fierce. It's a different sport than it was 20 years ago and these injuries are going to take place quite a bit. It could happen to any one of em anytime. Remember RV's get off that broke his leg, he was a guaranteed champion that year if he didn't get hurt.

It could still be an exciting season. Dungey is so consistent, but just isn't competetive enough to be exciting to watch. Don't get me wrong, these guys are all in the stratosphere, but the excitement factor isn't there with him. Hopefully, he'll come back rejuvinated and more aggressive! :thumbsup

Daytona gets rutted out badly. This doesnt suit stewy at all. He might not make it 2 laps without the dismount. ;)

this is what I was thinking, maybe someone new could get onto the podium. completely possible with JS7's consistency. On the other hand, one less person between JS7 and RV when JS7 goes down. This will allow windham to podium a couple times hopefully.:thumbsup

Could you imagine if something happened to Villopoto, next thing you know you've got K-Dub and JS7 battling for the title. The seasons been crazy enough thus far, so anything could happen at this point. Not likely, but who knows. Look for RV to put a minute plus on the field in the main tomorrow night at Daytona.

anything can happen, it's just a mis-shift away off a triple or double. scary stuff. the season ain't over yet.

With Dungey out, RV and JS7 control their own race. They both have the speed to pass every rider, last to first..:thumbsup...

Dont you agree Flt? I mean, there's 3 or 4 other guys that are fast, but
RV and JS7 are just simpley more talented..:thumbsup

I agree completely, but JS7 has been completely neutralized though. Really sad to have that much talent and can't keep it together. I think he's just as confused as all of us. RV and JS are on their own level, a notch above everyone, including dungey.

I would like to see someone new step it up. Maybe weimer, maybe metcalf. I'd still like to see Alessi podium too.

I need to get out my son's PSP and take out this supercross anger on the fake track!

He actually hurt it at his training facility in Florida before St. Louis. He rode through the pain, but decided to get it fixed with surgery on Tuesday.;)
