You are right, but RC and McGrath were more talented than stewie

I think RC would be the first to say that James is the fastest rider he's ever seen, but mentally RC was the best.. RC has even said many times that the last 3yrs of his career, he won alot of races based on knowledge and not being the fastest guy...:thumbsup

Until the camera shuts off, then he says what everyone else says. ;)

Stewie is fast for 2-3 laps at a time. He just cant keep it together.

Yep, I agree, there's just something wrong with him, its always something every race.... Every once-in-awhile he dominates a Main, then it starts again, mistake after mistake... Bizarre career for Stew.. I wonder how many more races Stew could've won, if he was as consistent as RC or RV..:thumbsdown

Who else in his position decides to impersonate a cop and pull someone over with a fake strobe? It just goes to show that some of the most talented folks just can't buy common sense aka Mike Tyson, Terrel Owens, etc. Mental weaklings.

RC has said many times, Stewart is the fastest. He has no need to sugar coat it, they grew up together. It depends how you define talent I guess. I have no doubt Stewart is the fastest rider the sport has ever seen, but he's not the whole package. Stewart is lacking in mental focus & bike set-up. Seems his career hasn't gone anywhere without Tim Ferry setting up the bike for him. Not liking to test, not able to get the bike set-up & how that affects his mental focus during a race are keeping him from the front. But, if they were still on 2 strokes, he would find a way to overcome all of that.

From Chad Reeds Twitter- Chad Reed @CRtwotwo Close
Well I spent the day in the hospital yesterday here's the damage.. 2 broken ribs, broken spinous T6. Torn ACL and fractured tib fib..

That sucks, I was looking forward to seeing some solid racing in 2012 with CR.

That's a good question. I don't think they did a fill in for Canard. Reed has his own Pro-Circuit bikes, but on race day Factory Honda gives him his race bike. So, if Reed get's a replacement rider (guessing he will for his sponsors), I don't know if they would be on PC Hondas or if the factory would continue support.

I think he will try a get someone to be on the bike for the remainder of the race, if not a lot of sponsors will be bumming and quite a few guys will be out of work if there is nothing going on. Problem is who do you get?

There's some decent riders out there, but no one that would be top 10 -15. A long shot, but I was thinking to keep the buzz up & attention for his sponsors, he might go back to Australia, cherry pick the top rider & give him a shot. Finishes would probably be about the same (barely making the main) but he would get a ton of publicity.

I think this is a great plan. Bring someone up, but that usually happens at the end of the season. Since the west is resting, it's a possibility. Short didn't get dropped by McGrath did he?

Probably can't do it with contracts but get seeley while the west is off and barcia while the east is off. I would love to see barcia riding the 22 honda.

As selective as Honda has been I would think they are done this year with helping out 22 Motosports. They were allowing Chad to ride their stuff because he made them look good. Chad will probably bring another rider in to ride his machine though it only makes good business sense.
This might be an eye opening situation for Chad. Both him and RV were riding outside of their comfort zone. It was a matter of time before someone went down, but that is the kind of riding it is going to take to win with the caliber of riders this year.
Being a team owner and father, Chad might rethink coming back after this.

That would be awesome, I am a huge Seeley cheerleader. He grew up here in Newbury Park where I have lived all my life. Good to see a kid from around here do something with his talent.

I am surprised he hasn't picked a replacement though. It is his team and you would think it has to run for the sponsors.

Nice thanks for the update:thumbsup, I forgot their in ATL, thats why the early start time for us..:thumbsup

RV and Stew.... Who else?.... There's only JS7 that has the speed to beat RV, otherwise if Stew goes down, is it possible for RV to win by 10secs?....:D

Question is, who? Who would you pick to put on that bike that is actually available?

Stew isnt fast enough to stay with RV. He is for 3 laps, but no more than that. He falls, makes dumb mistakes, etc.

Craig, I agree.. But I really want to see JS7 keep it together and challenge RV... I want to see if he can actually beat RV headsup.:thumbsup Otherwise, this is going to be a long, boring rest of the season, w/RV winning every race.... Who else can win? Dungy? :thumbsup:thumbsdown

ATL Tonight, 430pm, are time, Speed:thumbsup

Agreed.

Dungey needs to sack up also. He has talent.

Also, Windham is still the man especially with his sick intro freestyle jumps. :thumbsup

You are right. Anyone that could get on that bike and make a run of it is already riding a bike. You do have one of the West Coast lites guys that could step in. I'm surprised there is not a replacement, you have to keep the sponsors happy. Do you suppose Pourcel has been blowing up Reeds phone:rotflmao:

Is it me, or does the TV add like 50 pounds to carmichael? He looks pretty chunky compared to his race days.

On Speed Now..!! Lets Go JS7..;)

On my way out the door to go out to dinner at PF Changs. DVR the supercross. I fully expect to come back from dinner to find out that James has crashed again, hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised and he'll be on the top of the podium. He's still the fastest man on the planet, when he's upright atleast. :thumbsup

I think rv would of got him if he didn't try the pass when he did with the lapper in the way. All 3 guys set really fast lap times at one time or another but RV just has that will not be denied attitude I like that in him.
