My boss life’s in wrightwood. The bridge got washed out. Crazy. He sent me a video of the start of the flash flood. It was wicked.

So it changed direction again?
One forecast model that was wrong. Pretty good hit on SoCal Mtns and Deserts, lots of Folks are affected, Godspeed All.

Now which fork of the San Gabriel River was it, that the ginormous nugget of gold was found in?

Rained most of the day in riverside. Got windy last night with some decent gusts, but nothing abnormal… power never even went out except for 1 minutes this morning when it was calm outside 🤷‍♂️ all trees still standing, trampoline didn’t even move.

95 in searchlight closed both directions last night for about 6 hours, open now. Vegas light rain mostly here and there, heavy rain for spurts of about 10 minutes. Sprinkles on the strip but that was it, looks bad in the mountains but nothing on the strip.

They canceled the first day of high school for my daughter. This is a private school also. Makes no fucking sense. Why?

Only 4 of 10 showed up for work today🤨 yes, it rained, the wind blew & a couple of the path light post blew over in our hood. I think we might survive.

I got a jobsite with 3 bldgs in Indio. Should be an interesting morning since the Glazer never caulked any windows yet like I suggested he do Thursday morning. Big site 🫣

Update: Just saw pics of the site. Completely flooded. Grader will be on site pumping. Gunna be a long day. Some temp fence blew over also. Probably take 3 days of pumping. FML 🤦‍♂️
Did the windows get water in them?

My PE said interiors looked pretty good but that’s his eye, not mine. I’m sure there was a lot. I’ll know in the morning. Whole site is one big lake

I'm sending this piece of crap back. I couldn't get the bluetooth to connect, and the wind speed thingy didn't work either.

I'm still downloading the other 251 data metrics, but thus far it looks like 1.75 inches.

And judging from the single Eucalyptus leaf, I think the wind speed was a 0-5 mph gust 🙃😄

I was surprised at the amount of rain at my house. About 6" of rain according to my rain gauge, 10 mph winds at best.

Made it through the storm without losing power for more than 10 minutes. But…..this evening some dumb fuck drove up the sidewalk at the park behind me and took out a transformer estimated power on is now 2am. good news is they didn’t kill anyone. Kids all over

Arrowhead went from 1 foot down to over full as someone mentioned earlier (or the other thread). So we won’t need as much of a wet winter to fill it up from what it drops to from now.

A few boats sunk around the lake.
