I don't think they did it for the V-Drives, but they screwed the rules for IO's (Basically Randy's Two Nordic Ski Race Boats) they have to run pump gas, are limited on displacement, and can't run an outdrive with a transmission, it has to be a bravo style shifting drive, that means no NXT's and no #III, #IV, #V, or #VI drives, basically nothing badass for IO's....

Al Stoker designed/owns the mold and Eliminator build the hulls for Al, and then he builds/rigs the boat to completion.

The just built a Merc 700 boat.. It was claimed that it was some super light layup deal to get the speed back out, but that's all rumors and B.S. The boat was actually laid up awhile back as an overseas rough water boat, just never finished. It will have a Merc 700 with a NXT or # 6 on the back (don't know which yet.. they are testing today down at windsor)
