I just find it odd how much that bothers people and how tuned up they can be over it to the point that they post the same stuff in a different way over and over again.

The drivetrain sucks donkey dicks but there’s a lot of the car that is far beyond radius arm technology that Polaris and Canned Ham’s have found themselves in.

It’s like I tell my employees about our competitors… there’s a lot of shit the competition fucks up but, more importantly, there’s a lot of shit they get right too which is why they’re a competitor. Which in turn is good for the consumer.

You've misinterpreted that statistic.
It's 20% of those 15-19 years old are in the labor force. They don't make up 20% of it
Of course we know that's pretty much BS unless they really have a narrow definition of "labor force".
There's likely not many rural Vietnamese over 15 who aren't working in some manner.

That had to be embarrassing, honestly, it's embarrassing to tell customers they need to pull their bed, and plugs just to change the oil.
I've done my oil change, when I couldn't get oil of the bleeder, I called Robby, and he told me to pull the bed and plugs and turn it over. I went back to purging the air out of the oiling system, and fired it off, and built psi immediately. No need to for all that other mess, especially pulling the cam timing plug, and then throwing a code.

If the can fix the last little couple issues they have, and start delivering the cars they said they were going to deliver, they may have a chance.

Besides the other valid points about how the business is run. I think Speed just missed a window of opportunity when money was cheap. The higher rates along with inflation is kicking Speed in the nuts. It would be a miracle if they survived five more years.

I think overall reliability is an obvious need but the speed key is their only chance to seem on par vs the pro r and new 4 seat Maverick coming. The head to head comparison tests will continue to leave speed in the rear unless it gets the extra hp and a set of brakes to stop it.....at minimum.

China was shut down long before and after us and with stricter lockdowns, and yes the rest of the world was behind as well as us because we don't manufacturer anything here anymore. You don't have and never had a dog in this fight so why do you care? I know Robby is a prick, he probably won't deny it, hell I'm an asshole, I know it and won't deny it but to want the failure of a company and the loss of people's money. Why? Maybe you don't understand how start up companies work but this is how they work, some fail, some don't it's always a risk buying into a start up but when they succeed the initial investors can usually retire as the company takes care of those that trusted them.

Covid fucked a lot of people and companies, it was real enough to scare the masses and almost completely shut down the world. Remember the chip shortage? Remember the parking lots and Nascar tracks filled with new vehicles waiting on chips? Yeah that effected Speed as well and I guarantee you that Speed was on the bottom of the list behind all the auto manufacturers to get their chips.

In my opinion, even if Speed goes Bk, (which I highly doubt). Hisun will do a re-brand. They are in the industry and arguably one of the largest. They’ll call it Hisun, drop the price by 20k and get back to what Chinese Manufacturers do. Sell quantity while developing the car. Remember they are already at a huge advantage by building in Vietnam. Polaris and all others are still dealing with Tariffs. 20-40% depending on the part.

Lakers have had 9 coach changes in the last what 7-8 years? You think they’re losing money? I would even argue Hisun makes more money than the top manufacturers.

I do not own one, however the owners seem to like them, sure they’ll be some angry ones. But this car needs time to develop and it will get there eventually.

Hisun sells to 250 Northern America dealers. They will be in that chain as soon as the product is ready to be delivered to the masses. It’s still in its infancy stage. I believe.
