I've intentionally not discussed my relationship with Speed UTV's because it really would only give a potential conflict of interest feel to my fun here.

Nah.. I’m at the point they can think whatever they want.. if they want to bet I’ll gamble (and win) but it becomes pretty obvious what’s real and what isn’t..

I am willing to bet Just about any amount of money I can sell my spot or spots for zero markup on todays prices and profit over 13 (more like 18). If someone says I’m full of shit put up the cash and I’ll bet I can do both of them in three phone calls or less in a matter of minutes. Lol.

I’m leaning towards keeping car number 2 because I want the Simpson seats woth seat heaters and a bench in the back etc and I can finish building it over the summer and run it next season.

I could be wrong but I believe a separate carb cert would be needed with the Speed key tune.......maybe hes getting the basic one first and will be using that for Speed Key versions check?

Probably because carb and epa need a production car so that they can validate that everything is to spec…

I honestly think he is spot on. He could easily sell that low number car for what it would cost someone now to get in the back of the line. Thats at a min. I think his post is pretty spot on.

If people are still buying Speed cars and paying the current price, it makes perfect sense to me that Dave could sell his spot for the current price plus a premium for an earlier delivery to someone that wants one. Once they start delivering would seem like the perfect time to me, as the excitement should peak.

I would disagree about if the cars start being delivered that an early car becomes less important, I would say its the complete opposite.

Everyone wants something NOW these days so if they know his car IS being delivered NOW he will get even more of a premium for it because they can literally go grab it and not have to go to the back of the line which even at his best delivery rate will be 2+ years away if you order now (he told me himself).

The second part is, it clearly permeates outside this thread as well. I've pointed that out in another thread when I mentioned I thought I was on this thread by accident. I put this in his, we aren't happy until you aren't happy category. Which seems to be true lately.

Its bigger than LOF, its as big as the board... maybe winter but when threads often go to shit (politics, arguing, vax, you name it) in the 1st 25 posts....its normally a small group of folks that trigger and a larger number of folks that sit on the sidelines for either side that elevate the volume (I am guilty of this)...there is a fine balance between freedom of speech, censorship, and just focking minding your own damn business and not trying to derail everyone's thread with your agenda......the mods try to find that balance but once in while you fock around and find out, someone gets a vacation and shit gets back to peace and quiet.... and most of us appreciate that peace and quiet...

When LOF made this argument 4172 times, it didn't make sense to me then and it doesn't make sense to me now. So, with this logic....if you don't own a DCB you can't follow/post in a thread about DCB? Makes zero sense....I've been following this thread (nothing on order) so that I can see the progress, learn a bit, get real world (at some point ) opinions, etc. I think anyone in the SXS market wants to know as much as they can about the various products so that they can make a more informed decision.
