I remember my grandfather saying don’t buy things made in Mexico then my dad said damn everything‘s made in Taiwan now we all say shit most of it’s made in China I don’t know I think that ship has sailed I don’t know if it’s harder to build a speed or an iPhone but so far my iPhone and my Dodge truck I’ve been pretty good one made in China and the other made in Mexico I think you can put the equipment it takes to build something anywhere on the planet it’s all about the supervision over the people putting it together

Might be out that way next weekend after heading to Glamis good to hear if it’s true as that is exactly what Robbie has said all along once the cars are on the way they’ll get back to making a building that will work for them.

Thats a very nice looking car I would love to see it in action. I am wondering why the print work on the Speed logo is cut off on each door, was that an intentional design or? I would think they would want the entire name of their brand vs just SPEE.

Suspension looks nice right up until those skinny little axles. I'm sure they've tested them... but man they look tiny.

Yeah that was a really nice video I put on almost 15 minutes I think my car looks really nice I think I’m still going to be happy with a Diablo little bit larger bed and more room behind the seat to build a larger fuel tank and put some gear back there. If I’m not mistaken I thought that the container ship should show up mid week so about a month and we should start seeing a lot more on those other cars hopefully somebody weighs there’s. I know they’re gonna be a little heavy for the sand but but I’d rather have the strength and They’ll do well everywhere else

That doesn't surprise me. He said the first twelve cars will be delivered mid February in Havasu at the Hastings building. Because they are not here yet doesn't mean they are not in transit on the water.

I’m the video before (2 days ago) they literally showed an old video of how easy it is to take a el jefe and turn it into a bandit because they share the same parts..

I’d bet they took an el jefe and converted it real quick because they were dialing in the plastics like described two days ago

Originally it was 30 days before delivery. Not sure if that has changed or not.

I'm sure there are many container ships leaving China for USA every week if not every day. And each one has, what? 10,000 containers?
I'm not sure I would believe anyone person would really know what's on a given ship unless they have the manifest for every container on every ship.
Anyway my reservation is SOLD, at cost. So I can now say with 100% certainty, that I will be riding a UTV in Baja this spring. Probably buy a new Pro R 4-seat.
My wait is over...

No the Diablo has a bigger bed you can actually close it with the tire in there I think up to a 35

You can close the bed in all the models with a 35, unless you run it in the further back position, if you want to add more storage boxes

I believe you are right about the bed being longer, it looks longer in the pictures, and the wheelbase must come from there, as the fronts of all models are the same.

You can check every container coming from China to US. It’s available. Usually costs a small fee. You can look it up by shipper, manufacturer, receiver as well.

As a current non-purchaser, I see there's two graphic schemes with a 3K price difference. Is one of those the "RG" model and the other the "LE" ?
Which is which and is essentially the "RG" the more performance oriented ?

The RG edition has it's own unique graphics, and it's limited in color options. The RG edition includes suede seats and steering wheel, orange arms and cage, window nets, and radio and intercom. Everything else is exactly same.
The LE, you get more graphics choices, almost unlimited as far as colors go, and 3 different design options. Suspension is grey, and cage is black. They don't come with nets, radio, or suede, but all can be added minus the suede seats and steering wheel. There is no difference in performance.

I choose an LE because I didn't want to be limited to the color and design options.

If you ordered an LE and added nets, and radio, the RG is actually cheaper than an LE with adding a nets and radio, FYI

I believe let’s say a year ago or so Todd had said that they had a special deal with freedom Road that buyers were going to be able to qualify and sign 45 days ahead of delivery or something like that instead of the normal 30.
