I’ve checked one out, they are legit and sick AF
Any utv running a full size 35 inch paddle is bad ass in my opinion I went for a ride in one that was tuned with exhaust and all that junk and shit sucked me back in the seat it’s a hard running car for sure we jumped off the top of olds at glamis soon as we landed he floored it and we hit 70 all the way down through the whoops like it was nothing didn’t even spill my Colorado kooliad

Just to thread jack, because this thread is already stupid..

$75k for a new UTV or $75-100k for a V8/Sequential sand car?

Is the answer different for the guys that go to the dunes 96.9% of the time?

Yes. No reason to buy a SXS if all you are doing is dunes.

I could find a handful of cars that are made with better components that are that price, or less. Englewood's VW is for sale for $100K, and that thing will eat these SxS's for lunch. Hell, I've seen Tatum cars listed for less than $75K!

This is my opinion, but I think the SxS market is about to take a hit, and the people who jumped on the bandwagon may be in similar positions as those who bought outrageous pontoon boats when THAT market was hot.

Englewood likes his SXS more :)

We already discussed that one yesterday.

And there will be an ADM, assembly fees, doc fees, etc. plus it’s still down 50 HP.
I’m sorrry but I’m tired of you stupid fucking attitude at this point. You said show me a turbo for x price and I fucking did. Now you banter on about a bunch of bullshit including that it makes less hp. How do you compare hp to the exact same item. please shut the fuck up at this point. If I need a time out from Dave, ill take it at this point to prove how fucking argumentative and dumb you are this point.

Please use the ignore button, and cry harder.

You showed a random price that comes with a bunch of fees attached. You won't get out the door much under $40K.

I've never met the man, but he seems like a pleasant and down-to-earth guy. He said he is selling the VW in order to purchase a 4 seat Manx so he can take the kids along. Too bad because he put a lot of energy into that VW build. That's my point. That car is an example of a car that can be purchased for almost the same money as these ridiculous SxS golf carts.....yet is a plated vehicle that can be driven on the street or off-road. A much better quality product than what you'll find from these other companies. Period.

Now I am not one too argue but how do you know that you can’t get one under 40k we have like 100k dealers across the united states that sell rzrs so you really can’t say won’t when you don’t know for sure

Yes, but if you don't work on your own stuff, a custom car becomes a pit of time and money. That is the difference.

The SXS you get in and go. It fits in a regular trailer, can be street registered in sane states, and you aren't getting through trails in the desert faster in anything else. A DS car is too wide.

My point was you aren't getting a comparable car to this one for $32K. That is what I said in the original post.

I'm sure you can get a Turbo R for $32K OTD in TN, and spend $3K to transport it here and then pay tax and license.

Do it if that is what you want to do, but you are still in the high $30K range. It is not an equal car.. its down 50HP.

I saw one of these Turbo R's locally a couple weeks ago used with 150 miles on it for $32K. I almost bought it but bought this '19 Turbo instead.

If you don't know how to work on your own stuff, you have no business being out in the desert.

Whats to know…. A quick U tube video comes in handy most of the time…

90 % of the time it’s a tire or a belt on a sxs!
over the past 4/5 years there have been maybe 8 belts replaced on different cars, maybe 10 tires

A few other items from rides….

Fuel pump o ring RZR 10 minutes boom done!
a shock shit the bed rzr - this wasn’t fixable unless you had a new shock!
on one of our AZPT rides one guy rolled his car (can am max ) and he broke/ bent his lower A arm, swapped out an A arm and He finished the ride

So are you trying to say your boy RG gave you in writing on your contract when you purchased your Unicorn that there isn't going to be any fees like every other car vehicle !! Just for starters any of them registered in California will need to pay sales tax !!

So speed cars don’t charge sales tax now and registeration since you are complaining about that on a different brand. Stop being fucking delusional

You can get 2 door turbo Rs under 30k.

Wow that’s a wonderful 2 seat orange. We are taking about 4 seat apples here.

Where did I complain about paying tax and reg? I said you are going to have ADMs and build fees from that “$32k” Turbo R.

So let’s quote one with 2 fewer seats that barely comparable. It’s down 50 HP on gas and 120 on E85.

👍🏻

You did in complaint about getting one back east for under 32k. The point is you cannot back up your claims and won’t pipe down. Take a chill pill for once and push your keyboard back.

Where do you buy your weed?

From the members that can’t hit the ignore button but complain every day. I figure they must have the good shit to put themselves through that day in and day out.

I posted a 4 seat first then you opened your mouth about a bunch of nothing.

Like people aren’t gonna pay for fees on their speed cars if they ever sell lol.

A vehicle with an ADM is just more fees. The vehicle you posted has an ADM.

No ADM for a Speed and no assembly fees. No one ever said there was 0 fees tax or license.

Plus as I stated originally, its down 50 HP to a Pro R/Speed UTV, for best case equal money + ADM.

Try harder next time bud!

$100K for a VW?

This I need to see.

My VW has 0 VW or EMPI parts, I have to see a $100K VW

To be fair, the oil fill tube extension is EMP and the aluminum block is VW.
definitely a badass "VW"

Says in the add: it’s half the price it would cost to build today.

I call bullshit, I don’t think you could build that car for $200k.

Interesting conversation I had with a sales rep at Bert in Covina. I asked when did he think they were going to get Speed cars, he said “Never”. Who knows if he is right, just thought it was interesting. And I wasn’t there to buy a SXS. Just some accessories.

Well I don’t believe Bert’s is a dealer if that is true they will never get them so he is not wrong
