What if # 5 is a 2 door car.. why does he have to wait? He should just get his car! It is not right he has to wait until they do a 2 door production run. They should make his car bespoke for him because he was #5.

You can’t talk about profitability one day and then talk about how delivery order isn’t fair to the next. This is a business, they are doing this to make money. They need to deliver product to drive revenue. I know you know this.

So yes it is right. If you can’t take delivery give the product to someone who can. This is a not a lunch line. If #5 wants a car without waiting, he needs to take delivery in AZ. Pretty simple.

The Same thing happened in 2015 when Turbo RZRs came out.. did Polaris wait to deliver product until CARB approval ? Take a guess as to who got cars and who waited.

The good thing is that these are 50 state cars. You can take delivery and register it at the appropriate time.
As of right now, I think it's safe to say these imaginary "Speed" cars are "0 state cars." 🤣

(Just trying to help make the 100.)

You have to keep up ….our money as in ”Polaris“ never took MY money to develop a car, never asked for a deposit , zip zero nada not a cent. wasnt talking about your car. Also you keep saying you are paying 32K for a car you have to do nothing To?? so you have driven it and your confident saying you will be 100% happy with the valving the “one size fits “ set up ? And does yours come with coms, radio, nets for 32K ? Not sure what comes standard just asking

I have said this 100 times.. I don’t need a cage, I don’t need seats, I don’t need safer belts, I don't need beadlock wheels, I don’t need a clutch kit, I don’t need ECU tuning. That is just for $32k.

That already puts me 10k ahead of anything else. You know this and I know this. The car will still need little things like anything else out there. And these things are all installed free at the factory and under warranty.

Funny, I wondered if I could find a thread on air pressure yesterday. I want a good starting point for the Havasu mix of sharp rocks and sand washes.

What tire? I’d start at 12 to 13 cold.

BFGs liked 14 to 14.5 cold.

Currently, a 32" GBC Kanati on an 15" OMF Beadlock. I will be switching out this season at some point, likely BFG. I want to run these a while before I buy new tires and see if I like the 32", or if I am going to step up to a 35" I have a Halo front diff and RCV axles, so I think it can handle the 35's, I'm not sure what my trail mix will be between Rocks and desert.

If you are not trying to drag race with the throttle inputs I think you will be fine on 35”s @DLC has ran them for years on his 4 seater with otherwise stock drivetrain and no issues. I don’t recall where he runs his tire pressure.

It my personal playing around I found the BFGs liked and worked better with a little more air pressure. I have 32”s now, but I think my go to going forward will be 33”x9.5.

The problem with running 10-11 PSI is the response turns to mush. You are rolling the tires over, and compressing them losing ground clearance. I found that I could run higher pressure for better performance if I played with the shocks and could pay almost no ride penalty.

We could add a dozen pages on tires. I like the idea of a 33x9.50. I know BFG has made that in a Mud Terrain for years. When I'm ready, I will look at tire weights and accurate dimensions before pulling the trigger. I don't want to run a truck tire on a UTV, I have not found a UTV 33" tire, but I have not looked very hard. A buddy of mine swears by the Maxxis Rockzilla for crawling, and he was a long-time BFG ambassador.

Several of us are liking the System 3 RT320. It is available in 32x10, 33x9.5 and 35x9.5 in decent weights. My new car came with the 32”s on it.

I really liked the BFGs on my last car.

I was thinking about putting 35” Tensors on mine. I need to ad a spare, I don’t want to buy one, make changes, and have to buy another one. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Maybe I can sell my 32’s with 50 miles on them for something.

I have the KM3 and have noticed zero difference between 15 psi and 20 psi in the tire. So 20 it is.

Wow really? I didn’t play with them that long to try pressure that high. Was that hot or cold?

They for sure like more pressure than other tires we ran before.

Start at 16 psi and work down to 10/12psi to see what works best for your application.

i run 12 to 14 in my 35’s for the can am

to soft and you can pinch the tire, 18 +psi is like riding on a rail road track

I run 16-17 cold in these KR2's. Havasu tends to be rocky and don't want to take a chance pinching them. I've run as high as 20 but worked much better at the lower psi.

I have 3 used tensors one is really good for a spare. Bring 2 - 15 pacts of CL screw tops ( Food City ) and haul em away!! They are a soft tire and wear out fast, I smoked a set at 13 /1400 miles !

these hold air!!

The tensors are a great tire and I run them on our 10 car. Just realize that they are a race tire with a shallower tread and softer compound and will not last very long, especially if you run pavement a lot.

I’ve been running the rt320

33x950x15 is actually lighter than the 32

At the Sancho RG and Speed had the Speed tire on sale for $299

wondering what they weigh….
Robby is hard on tires and I’m sure he built these really well but might be heavy…

PAYING $475 is out of the question for a sxs tire….

Speed is pushing all VP products. It is what comes in the break in kit as well. So we are all running VP for awhile at least :)

Has there been any action at the Hastings location? I missed the last show, is there any news on deliveries? I'm master #2153 El Diablo, I'm thinking 6 months out at best.

I check in every few years on this thread for an update, seems as though its become a tire thread as of late. I dont have one on order, I am just more fascinated on the process, marketing, handling objections, etc., of the whole thing. So do people have any of them yet? Last I heard it was CARB that was the hold up?

This month it’s carb. It was they were in a container. It was they were being built in mex. It was they had supply issues. It was an oil fitting thing. It was a bad tab on a suspension part. It was a hisun or not, it was in the compound of a cartel, it was a assembly line in china well sorta more like parts all over a floor,

yeah it’s almost done

There has.

There’s several pallets of Speed Energy Drinks sitting outside on the loading dock for the last week or two

I did thankfully, broke even, the bottom was falling out of that market fast when diesel skyrocketed 3-4 months back. People calling me with all sorts of crazy offers. Found a guy who's wife fell in love with it thankfully, thats all it took. We bought a new Grand Design toyhauler and dually, still in for some coin but a fraction of what we were into the motorhome for and its made life so much simpler and so much less scary without being on the edge of a $5000 repair bill with every trip. Always wanted a dually and now its doable since we live in the country and I fly to my California meetings and rent a car instead of trying to park a dually in a downtown LA parking garage. And lastly i sold my 16 ram cummins 2500 for $21,000 more than I paid for it, shits just bat shit crazy these days.

That’s awesome news, I have been looking for months now every single day for the right “one” and fina found it last week. My friend flew into Texas today and is driving it home as we speak. It’s a 2016 Entegra 44L with only 12k miles, they were asking 260k and I was able to get it for 225K so I don’t think it was that bad of a deal. These things have so many buttons it’s going to take a bit to get used to it lol
