Drip drip rumor #3. Due to the almost 1 year delay, there are some big loans coming due and it's rumored that Speed was looking for an outside investor or possibly another manufacturer to buy into Speed UTV to fund those loans & bring stability to the company & brand. If another brand was to buy into Speed this could also help with the dealers who are currently committed to buying cars, but have no eta on when cars will be delivered. The Hisun branded photos are a tell.

I just got a call from Speed right after the above posting. Speed says my fuel cell option CAN be removed from the order if whoever buys the reservation does not want it.
So I'd still need to get my $11.5k (my cost) but the new reservation holder could use the fuel cell as a credit to reduce final payment or toward other options.
So now this should be a smokin deal for someone. $45,500 El Jefe RG Edition for $37k.

So basically $4500 down pymt. Plus the $7k in options I paid ($11.5k to me). Then if fuel cell not wanted, balance due at delivery would be $29.5k instead of $33.5k.
(That includes the $750 delivery fee and the $250Document fee). Plus tax of course.

It is more likely that the top line number of “800HP” is a stretch, and/or there is some other transmission in the thing.

Even a 500WHP SXS with a stock based 1000cc ish engine would be crappy to drive at anything besides a drag race or top speed run. Way too much lag.

This is the last time I’m going to explain it.

I am in for $1k or more per person. Winner takes all. Decide a start date (AFTER Dave gets both of our funds) and and end date or time.

As an example - bet starts when Dave confirms receipt of both parties funds. Term of bet is 30 days after Dave’s confirmation.

I’m done now. Decide on some terms based on the above, or stop talking about it.
