No. These are added features above and beyond the original capabilities. There is nothing sketchy about it. If you want front and rear cameras, belt temp, and tire pressure displayed on the dash, you buy this technology package for $1300, you get all the sensors and cameras, and dash is unlocked for them.

If you don't by the package, you don't have those features on the digital dash. That is it.

Because we paid $32k and they will be $50k in another year. That has been the point the entire time. The cars will be better in another couple years, and cost a lot more. I can deal with that. I’ll be able to drive this one almost for free at the current MSRP.

Dave, don’t you understand other businesses have failed in the past, this one will fail too.

When someone that spent one hour watching one release on this product that thinks I’ve been waiting 4 years for the car, does not know the pricing, or any of the specs goes on to try to tell me what is wrong with the car, their supply chain, their business model, their future strategy, their dealer model, the ethics of the people that run the company etc.etc.etc and calls me a know it all because I have at least some of the answers while they provide 0, I’ll take the know it all moniker over someone that clearly knows nothing.

The preorderd cars that were locked in late 2019 to mid 2020 were LE spec cars and MSRP was $32k. Pricing has been raised since.

That makes sense, I didn’t remember hearing about a Speed in the low 20s but I figured that’s where the base would of started if it is currently 32k. That would have been a steal.

That is for any base car ordered after 7/14/22 11:59 pm. The base car will have non IBP shocks, no bead lock wheels, generic 32" tires, no roof, basic seats and a few other things. IMHO the base model Speed UTV with out the Proprietary Speed IBP shocks is a waste of money.

I have a 2018 can am max, I have app 4200 miles on my car but I plan to replace my car after the release of the speed car. Not saying I’ll get one but want to check it out.
I like to do longer multi day rides, I think the truck bed & wheelbase and storage abilities will be perfect in the speed car.

LOF is comical and makes the thread and the other “ Locked “ thread interesting…. i don’t see any BS naysayers about the Lux pontoon boat thread.
Honestly I don’t see why people don’t like the Speed car or the idea,
The biggest issue to be had is COVID and Supply chain, it has a ripple in EVERYTHING in the world right now…. It is a not a RG thing.

RG doesnt have the best track record and he has a questionable past …

he knows how to drive and HE knows Off Road cars, he is a perfect guy to bring this to market!!
no matter what he does in his racing WORLD….

I missed half a season because my Polaris failed and I moved. So I maybe missed a couple weeekends. As I said before there is a reason I never sold my RZR. It is getting cleaned up and prepped for sale this weekend actually I will probably put it up for sale in August.

If I don’t like the speed car I’m getting a Turbo R.

Every manufacturer makes incremental changes during a run that they don’t tell you about.

That kick out on the quick approach is the beginning of the lawn dart. It’s just the rear geometry of the car, specifically the scrub radius in the rear. That is really at the core of what makes the modern cars ride and handle better, the geometry is better.
