She is being sent home with O2 and a ton of RX’s. We will need to take her back tomorrow to monitor O2. Dr says she has signs of Pneumonia. If her O2 levels are low tomorrow, we will need to head off mountain and get back into Denver.

Never had issues with my respiratory [ I'm 77 ] until about 24 years ago. Out of the blue, one night , watching TV I had trouble breathing. Went to ER right away, and got hooked up to oxygen. Got to feel right away. Got prescripton to get an inhaler, Teva Salbutamol HFA . Got diagnosed with late onset Asthma with sensivity to cold air and humidity. Never a problem during mild weather, only flares up occasionaly in winter. When a feel congestion in the lungs and plugged up nose during sleep, the inhaler [ with steroid in it ] gets me through it. I found, taking 1 pill twice a day with lukewarm gingerale does wonders.
The pill is N-AcetylCysteine 600 mg. Works better than any other OTC medice I've tried before.

Nope, wrong, not ghetto. Very red area. Yeah I got a cold (OMG) but not from the hospital and my mom was having severe chest pain, she is not sick. It's what happens when you have to be around people at work, it happens. Fauci even admitted that there was no science behind the masks and that they didn't work

I was just sick for a week less than two months ago. The whole family was. That one had each of us down for a full week along with a lingering cough for two more weeks.

Was really surprised when I got hit again after Christmas! Down 48 hours and still not 100%. Wife and daughter got it again too.

I’m not the type to get sick very often. Either the strain of flu is bad or my immune system is just not has good as I’m getting older..

Have to knock out a day and a half of work this week. Going to try and stay clear of everyone.

I had a build up of CO2 because the lungs weren’t scrubbing it out. In hospital 20 days, 5 basically unconscious on a bipap machine. Home now but still in O2 and lasik to keep the lungs dry. May be a month before I recover. It was flu, Type A.

She is off continual O2 as of today’s follow-up visit. On an inhaler every 6 hours. If her O2 numbers drop below 90, then on for 15 minutes. Dr wants her on it when sleeping tonight, since we are still at elevation. Once we get down to Denver and then home, no more O2.

Added another antibiotic (Azithromycin), since she spiked a fever last night and that was after 48hrs of being on Amoxicillin. Dr wants her to finish both rounds.

working on trying to get follow-up with her primary once we get back to SD.

All in all, heading in the right direction.
She tested negative for Covid, Flu A/B and RSV On Sunday, Monday and Today.
