With the daily propaganda of the ZNPP being "mined", I'm thinking something bad is going to happen. The IAEA had inspected before, and found nothing to suggest a threat. They did so again, and released a statement a week or two ago....they released another statement, looking to inspect again in the next few days.

NATO's big statement "Any sabotage of the ZNPP will be treated as use of nuclear weapons, and will be responded to as such."

In other news, Turkey pissed off Russia, and transferred all the AZOV commanders they had in custody since the Azovstol/Mariupol exchange. The US claims they had nothing to do with negotiating their release...Zelensky was videoed greeting and hugging the nazis when they arrived in Lvov.

Also, some interviews on local Turkish media with one of the AZOV guys. He claims that the "truce" at Azovstol was brokered between the US and Russia...The Azov/Ukrainians would walk out, if the Americans on site were allowed to leave... Don't know how true, but there was definitely some American gear and supplies there afterwards.

Perhaps because it’s becoming obvious that Ukraine’s counter-offensive is failing, and the Europeans are looking for a way out?

On a related note, Biden has now stated that Ukraine will be allowed to join NATO after the war ends. So, why would Russia consider pulling out if it guarantees that Ukraine will become a NATO member? Seems that makes this Russia’s only opportunity in Ukraine, and gives them an incentive to complete the job.

So, last year they bumped up the European troop numbers to 100k. Today they announce another 3k. Do the fuktards in Europe have their own troops? I have yet to figure out why these guys think allowing Russia to reconstitute the former Soviet Union, or for that matter thinking that once they allow Russia to take Ukraine, that they will not march through the rest of Western Europe knowing we did nothing starting in Ukraine?

And then forgetting that if they stand by and let Ukraine fall, it sends the clear message to China to take Taiwan and for N. Korea to take S. Korea.

Yet for some reason they think that is in our National Interest.

It seems they either prefer autocracy over democracy and support the spread of strong man autocrats across the world at the expense of liberty and freedom. My devotion to this country is not based on daily whims or what I read in tweets. No more than the devotion I hold to my wife of 40 years is based on her mood du-jour.
So agree or not agree with our country's current policy or decision, I refuse to embrace the enemy or place him above our own, regardless.

You want to disagree with our leaders, fine, have at it with my blessing. But that's where I draw the line and unlike others, I do believe in the necessity of war, just as I believe in defending myself from any obvious or perceived threats.
