When I served in the commie army, we learned, at any peace time exercise we carried out, a 4 % fatality rate was accepted by government guidelines. Been on the web a bit, Chechen soldiers claim to have killed 7 American "mercenaries" in Mariopul. They have one passport of a Joseph Ward Clark, from Washington state. He was reported as arriving in the Netherlands March 11th, and March 13th crossing from Poland into Ukraine.
No statement as to who he worked for.
No news or evidence of the others.

Official Russian response is being called a mercenary/contractor.
Unofficial from some foreign language news is calling him a "special agent".

And actually Ukrainian people(not the government) have been asking for help from Russia for years..

There is way more to this than meets the eye... far beyond what we will ever be told. I think there has been terrible things going on in Ukraine for years funded by "our" government and that is now coming to "a head". This is not from the news, this is not from the internet, this is from people that have lived, live, and still have family living, in it!!

My electrician has a mail order bride from Russia for 25yrs ago. She still shows up at the jobsite and brings him and his apprentice lunch, wants to stay and help, takes his shoes off for him when he gets home.. he always says, it was cool for along time but it gets old after years. She cracks me up, she tried to bribe my inspector one day when he asked her for her apprentice card..lol inspector called me and said I had "30min to get her off the jobsite or my inspection would fail and he was going to fine the electrical contractor(her husband)"! Needless to say she was gone when he got back. But listening to my electrician about some stories is pretty funny.

It’s hard to imagine what our continent would look like if we had a western or eastern front.
So far we’ve had a decent 250 year run with just southern and northern fronts.
(Setting aside Canadas transgressions during the revolution)
We fought and stole a huge land mass on the south western front though. Ask any Mexican national. (Should be a few in most neighborhoods these days)
Hell, ask the native Americans what they think of the pale faces that “claimed” this dirt.

I've read some about the drones being downed. I don't know what drones are being used though, they don't look like Predators, but I don't know who has what either.
