I did that once heading out on a 4th of July weekend many years ago. Rice road had turned into a one way highway, there was a line of taillights in both lanes as far as I could see.

I just cruise through Ehrenberg now a days, Rice isn’t worth it.

The trucks were less of the problem.

Bigger issue was the people who went 60 when passing the trucks and then 90 after they passed.

the entire state of california every freeway is a construction zone, its never finished. we have signs on our street from like 4 years ago that have never been removed.

Wife counted for me while I stayed focused. Nope boat does an honest 68 mph.
