I’ve noticed the same thing with realtors always claiming it's a great time to buy or sell, no matter the circumstances. When I was shopping for my first home, every agent I talked to was trying to convince me it was the perfect moment, even when the market seemed a bit off.

But then, I came across an agent who really opened my eyes to some hidden costs, like exp fees, that I hadn't considered before. Thanks to their guidance, I was able to navigate around those fees and save some money.

I have a best friend thats a realtor in So Cal. No matter what the market is, he always trys to sell me shit. I told him to stop but he cant help himself. Im in his "circle of influence".

Just like a Financial Advisor, they are trained to say "you can't time the market, "your in it for the long haul", they are all very well trained!!!

First question I ask a realtor is if it’s such a great time to buy when was your last purchase?

Shuts them up rather quickly.
