This will be my last project to sort out an old car, lol. Getting parts seem to take for ever lately too.
Hope to have it on the road in April. Lot of loose ends and missing key parts were when got the car last year in February.
New main wiring harness, changing from auto to manual. New colour from gold to dark sapphire blue and other stuff. I'm missing the driver side carpet in the footwell, impossible to find the colour of brown in this car, let alone in wool like the originals. Rest of the carpets are in great shape.

Yeah, that's what I'll do if the upholstery shop can't find a close match. They have been trying for almost two weeks from several suppliers. VP Autoparts have complete kit available for around $449 US. Only problem with those, according to the Volvo club guys, the new kit is synthetic and looks like chit after a few years.

Appears that using a helicopter to trim trees is dangerous duty. Would seem by the description of the accident that the quick release intended to prevent snags from bringing you down, didn't work or wasn't activated in time ??

My daughters 2019 Acura TLX (fancy accord) had all the dash lights on, various warnings, she panics.

So I take my scan tool over there and find this: U3000-49

The multipurpose camera that resides in front of the rear-view mirror is bad. New camera $1200. Acura dealer Calibration $500 (2X$249/hour)

I will pop in the new camera when she decides to do it. She has never even used the ACC cruise control to reap the benefit of this device.

I love ACC cruise, but the parts guy said some cameras cost more, up to $2,000. !! I don't love it that much.

That is a badass little plane. What are you using to bond the internal pieces? Just simple super glue, or have they come out with something better? I've got two old school gliders in the attic still in boxes that might be making an appearance on the work bench shortly.

Yeah thin and thick CA glue and five min epoxy for some of the heavier structures

Replacing the “screaming” LP tank straps.
Way too tight the buckle snaps off.
New straps fit firm and snug, not so tight.

I was tasked with tracing out water lines for a client. 25 acre horse property with a lot of spigots and almost none of them were on the correct water supply lol

Installed butcherblock countertops at a client in Belmont Shores on Thu and had this remenent piece left over. It was rough cut so I squared it up on my table saw, routered all the corners, sanded it in three stages and applied some oil/conditioner. Came out nice and I plan on using it for my new outdoor kitchen area once completed. It's 20x30" at 1.5" thick.

Also have this 3x8' top taken from a remodel in the same neighborhood a few months ago. Laminated hardwood they had as an island. Time permitting I'll sand it down and condition it as well. This will be a bar height table for peeps to congregate around it the same kitchen/patio area.

If you need any other countertop remnants. I have a lot of quartz and granite. Will make a post before I dump them. Some are full size prefabs I never ended up using.

Starting the network for this horse property. Got the Starlink up so that people have temporary internet.

Yellow line is the Starlink. Blue Arrow is the farthest spot at about 1,000 ft. It’ll be a network of WiFi Bridges and out door routers. The water tanks are what I was straightening out last week lol.

Got me another Tundra today. Been sitting majority of the last 3 years. Getting it all dialed in for my River truck. It cleaned up pretty good after a few hours. Not sure how much work I will do to it. Needs some paint work done. Topped it off with 91. And planning on doing a full service this week on it. 4x4 Limited. See how it does launching the boat.
