STOP!!!I started getting some hardware cleaned up. Once I finish, I hope to take it to @lbhsbz to test out his chemistry set.
Not too shabby considering this stuff is 37 years old. Back to scrubbing.......

It's therapeutic. And it helps to cope with my OCD.STOP!!!
I can have all that striped and blasted by the time we both finish a beer....and all I have to do is turn a knob and walk away.
Quit wasting time lol.

Don’t take Chevy advice from a Ford guy.B or C, I'm more partial to B
B is the one. A is hipster and C is bro with sleeve tattoos, tapout shirt, and flat bill RDP hat.B or C, I'm more partial to B
Ok, so which one? LOLDon’t take Chevy advice from a Ford guy.
Nice truck but to me the wheels make zero statement. I know it's kind of a thing but definitely not mine.I say A
I'm not typically a black wheel kind of guy but I will say they look damn nice.I'm old, but I like "C"
I was thinking they might be a gun metal gray satin, if not they should be.I'm not typically a black wheel kind of guy but I will say they look damn nice.
That would look really nice. Smoked chrome looks really nice on the right cars as well.I was thinking they might be a gun metal gray satin, if not they should be.![]()
Thank you everyone for your inputs. Heading to the Truck Reunion in downtown Chandler today to get some ideas and see what the vendors have for sale.Call Chris to get your wheels for B

View attachment 1485545 few little gremlins have been plauging me since I got it back together. Fueling was one. Suspected it was a leak and i was right. Had a big hole in a boot.
banjo line to the turbo was leaking coolant. Got that fixed. View attachment 1485547 two other fittings are bugging me and a pig tail I'm replacing for my peace of mind. View attachment 1485548
After that i have one more issue that I Albert fully pin pointed. Either my front seal is leaking or my upper pan is leaking. Hard to tell where it's at. Going to pull the dampener and inspect. Then go from there.
I ordered the dye. The pan and seal are hidden under the dampener. So I had hesitated to do a dye. I didnt think i would be able to pin it down still. I have a uv kit for coolant. So I just needed the dye. Ordered ac delco dye. We will see. Yesterday turned to an all day ordeal and I thought I was done about 2. Pig tail was not happy for whatever reason. Kept going into reduced power mode. Finally about 8 pm 2 different pig tail several connectors later we finally got it. What did it? I have 0 idea but it's working so I won't complain. It was breaking those 35s loose through the gears. Was impressive. Still more smoke than I like on the big tune at WOT off the line. But that surge and lag is gone. It scoots. I'll data log and send to the computer wiz. See if they see something or can clean it up a bit. Lower settings it's fine. But load the big 2 in and it it lays down a decent cloud on take off.For leaks like that, use dye. Pretty much all the popular auto parts stores sell the kits.
Been working on my garage. One wall all done. The other two are getting new drywall.

Polishing exhaust valves. 50 done, 250 to go.
I actually had bought a harbor freight auger for chain link in Havasu. That was a huge failure in the rocky soil. Work perfect for this project though. Still had to open the holes up a little bigger than the 8’ auger made for the 5” square post.I dig my post holes with a pressure washer and a shop vac now.
