Thanks! A very simple, but older prerunner. I’ve owned it 20+ years. It was for sale, or might again be for sale, I dunno right now. I’ve got cancer and I’m at City of Hope getting treated. Don’t want to get dark but not sure what the future looks like right now. Sold off some other stuff, not sure what I want to do with the truck right now.

Wish me luck and we can get together for a beer some time in the future!
Good luck man, I hope everything turns out ok for you and family

Built on an 81 Bronco and SCORE legal as such. We widened and stretched the early bronco body to proportion it right to fit on the 81 chassis.
The headlight bezels are of a 1960s era Peterbuilt. All steel body (except hood) but I recently had John at Autofab make some molds for us.
So now we race it with fiberglass rear fenders and door sides. The front fenders and grill remain steel. Registered as a 66 bronco.
The 460" small block runs on pump gas. Front outers are Spidertrax Pro 60 parts grafted onto the Ford TTB. Crossover joint is RCV CV. Outers 1480 U-joints.
24" rear travel, 18" front. 80 gal cell. Eats whoops better than any stock wheelbase bronco has a right to. Fun toy.

That's cool! Like a Stroppe on steroids. How much did you widen the beams, or is that all different with the spidertrax stuff?

Just a couple inches per side but we also run a large negative offset wheel which pulls the tires inboard (bearings outboard) and minimize kingpin inclination to reduce scrub to reduce stress on the steering. The width is regulated by class rules so it's a lot narrower than many of the Bronco prerunners out there.

Here's my stable, I may have a VW/Baja problem.

White Baja is my prerunner, I've had this car basically 35 years, it was my wifes car in highschool, used to be pink and lowered, it's been through 4 lives so far.
Silver VW is my Class 11 car
Rasta Baja is a 5/1600 that's a pretty famous vintage race car that I restored for NORRA
Oval Window is a Baja I built for my wife, it's sort of a sleeper, it's basically a tube chassis, Coilovered and Bypass shocks, but kept it pretty simple looking
Teal Buggy, I built for my daughter when she turned 14 to learn to drive in the desert
Jeep, well it's my jeep that I have for my Tow Behind.

Not sure what I like more
The 3 cars you posted or wondering what else you got
Mainly 80/90's Toyota's nothing older, I sold off most of that stuff. I do have a small warehouse of parts. All mini truck running gear, I don't need to derail this thread though.

It would take me a week to cover what guys in SxS's cover before lunch.🤣

I have a bad addiction to older Toyotas, This is all I'm willing to admit to.

My wife might see.

I referred to those as a newer Toyota’s. 🤣

@HBLOWEN Who's chassis? How many gallons is the fuel cell, smart location! More details or a detailed build thread please.
Mason Motorsports and it’s a 30 gallon Harmon cell. Here’s a build thread.

I have raced my '67 Bronco in NORRA several times since I set it up for racing in 2013. I got it from the 2nd owner in '97 not running for $1300. It was a California car, and the body was in really good condition. Luckily, I've been able to keep it that way! It's currently being prepped for the 2025 NORRA 1000 in April.
It's got a 347 stroker out of a '92 Mustang, 2.5" King bi-pass and coilovers on all 4, giving 16" travel in the rear and about 14" in the front, D4 front, 9" Currie 35 spline rear, 4.56 gears, C4, D20.
I got the '23 Braptor new as a 'golden ticket' trade being a day 1 reservation holder originally for a Wildtrak Bronco in July, 2020.
